Preparatory work/about to start work
Before returning to earth, astronauts need to make a series of preparations. The first is to check whether the spacecraft's system works properly and ensure that the spacecraft can leave the International Space Station safely. Next, astronauts need to pack up the things they use in space and keep the experimental data and samples properly.
Leave the international space station
When everything is ready, the astronauts will enter the return capsule and close the hatch connected to the International Space Station. Subsequently, they will start the engine of Shenzhou 12 and gradually increase the thrust to make the spacecraft leave the orbit of the International Space Station. After leaving the orbit, the astronauts will check the spacecraft for the last time to ensure that all systems are operating normally.
return to earth
During the return of Shenzhou XII to Earth, astronauts will go through a series of complicated operation steps such as high-speed entry into the atmosphere, deceleration and landing. First, the spacecraft will slow down by igniting and let itself enter the atmosphere. In the atmosphere, the spacecraft will be subjected to great resistance, resulting in high temperature. Astronauts need to keep calm and ensure that the spacecraft is not damaged.
Next, the spacecraft will slow down by adjusting its attitude and using a parachute. After entering the descent phase, the parachute will be deployed to further slow down the descent speed of the spacecraft. Finally, the spacecraft will land at the scheduled landing site to complete the whole process of returning to Earth.
welcome ceremony
Once Shenzhou XII successfully returns to Earth, the astronauts will be warmly welcomed. They will be commended by leaders and people and interviewed by various media. This is the best reward for the astronauts' hard work and dedication, and it is also a great encouragement for China's space industry.
