Except for the part before she was born and married to Zhao Mingcheng (only a small part of the book), most of the contents of the book are centered around the story of Li Qingzhao and Zhao Mingcheng, followed by the death of Zhao Mingcheng, which simply expressed Li Qingzhao's thoughts about her husband and her later life, and ended hastily. This book may be renamed Love Story between Li Qingzhao and Zhao Mingcheng.
Although I don't like the writing style of this book very much, I still know the life of Li Qingzhao.
He was born into a noble family. His father Li, known to Su Shi, is one of the "last four bachelors" in Su Men. When I was a teenager, I interacted with some literary masters. When I am a guest at home, I can't help talking about poetry and prose. Li Gefei will let Li Qingzhao listen, which should have a great influence on the cultivation of her literary literacy.
The book says that under what circumstances did Li Qingzhao make "last night was like a dream, and the storm came suddenly". In fact, it is the literary translation of this word, which is not helpful to explain the creative background of this word.
Li Qingzhao met Zhao Mingcheng at the age of 17 and married him at the age of 18.
Zhao Mingcheng's father, Tingzhi Zhao, also holds an important position in Beijing. His political views are contrary to Li's, but both of them are relatively reasonable parents, and the marriage of the two young people has not been hindered by the contradiction between their parents.
After marriage, the two young people did not depend on their families. Because Zhao Mingcheng likes to collect ancient poems, paintings and epigraphy. There are a lot of them, and they don't want money at home, so in order to buy these collections, their lives are actually relatively poor, but two people who don't care about money live together and pursue the world, so they live comfortably.
But the two eventually separated because of their father's political struggle. "Party struggle" made Li lose his official position. Li Qingzhao wrote poems denouncing her father-in-law's ruthlessness and Cai Jing's mistakes, and her father-in-law was very angry. Li Qingzhao also moved out of the Zhao family.
Later, after the party struggle, Li returned to his post, and Li Qingzhao returned to the Li family. But this time, Li Qingzhao and Zhao Mingcheng lived far away from Bianjing for ten years. Although they were poor, they should be regarded as the happiest decade in Li Qingzhao's life. Although Zhao Mingcheng will go out to collect stones during this period, it is a short trip. It was also during this period that Li Qingzhao was awarded the title of "Yi 'an Jushi".
Constantly collecting these antiques has also consumed all their savings. Later, forced by life, Zhao Mingcheng went to Laizhou to be an official, but Li Qingzhao did not go together, but stayed in Qingzhou where they lived.
Li Qingzhao loved Zhao Mingcheng all her life, but Zhao Mingcheng finally lost the influence of the society and the officials of the DPRK at that time, and also hung out in the debauchery and officialdom, and married a concubine. When Li Qingzhao later returned to Beijing to face such a scene, although her heart was bitter, she did not say anything.
Later, the difficulty of Jingkang made Li Qingzhao drift from place to place, and most of the treasures collected by the husband and wife were looted. During the war years, Zhao Mingcheng died of illness, when Li Qingzhao was 46 years old.
A few years later, Li Qingzhao remarried with Zhang Ruzhou. This Zhang Ruzhou actually married her for the rest of her collection. Be caring and attentive when you are unmarried, and show your true colors when you are married. Later, Li Qingzhao sued Zhang Ruzhou to the government, and Zhang Ruzhou was convicted and exiled. Li Qingzhao was also put in prison, but was soon released.
In her later years, Li Qingzhao was on the way to escape the war because of her country. Many poems in her later years are represented by missing her hometown. She was 73 years old.
In fact, after the whole book, I feel that 7/ 10 is talking about Li Qingzhao, and 3/ 10 is talking about Zhang Ailing, the biography of Li Qingzhao, but Zhang Ailing's related descriptions account for such a large proportion, which is really a bit inappropriate.
