What is the next sentence of "The sky and the earth are dark and miserable"?

The next sentence is: The vast expanse of waves is filled with piles of colored glaze.

From Du Fu's "Meipi Journey".

1. Original text:

Brothers Cen Shen were curious and took me to visit Meipi. The sky and the earth are dim and suddenly different colors, and the waves are piled with colored glass.

Liu Li sweat flooded into the boat, and things turned out to be very exciting and extremely worrying. The turtle is swallowed by the whale and no longer knows, how can the evil wind and white waves complain.

The master's brocade sails are open to each other, and the boatman is very happy and has no atmosphere. The pupae are scattered and their hair is scattered, and the silk pipes are chirping in the sky.

The sunken pole continues to be unfathomable, and the lotus leaves are as pure as wipes. In the middle, it flows to the Bodhisattva and is clear, and down to Wuji, it ends in the southern black.

To the south of Banpi, there is a pure mountain, with moving shadows floating in the air. The boat side is dimly lit by Yunji Temple, and the moon rises above Lantian Pass on the water.

At this time, Lilong also spit out beads, and Feng Yi beat the drum and the dragons followed. Hunan concubines and Han women go out to sing and dance, and the golden branches and green flags are there.

I am so close but I am worried about the thunderstorm coming, and I don’t know God’s will in the vast sky. How can I grow old when I am young? How many sorrows and joys have I always had!

2. Translation:

Brothers Cen Shen both like to explore secluded places, so they took me all the way to visit Meipi together. Suddenly the sky and the earth were dim, showing strange colors, and waves came in thousands of miles, as clear as glass and gems. The water is vast, with waves like glass rising up. It is not a trivial matter to float in at this time, but they (referring to the Cen Shen brothers) are extremely interested, which is really worrying.

At that time, we no longer know how the dragon got angry, how it was swallowed by the whale, and how it had time to express its sighs in the face of the stormy and dangerous white waves in the sky. The owner ordered the sails to be opened one after another. The boatman liked the calm weather without dust and fog. While the boat was sailing, the chorus of songs frightened away the wild ducks and gulls in the water, and the chorus of silk pipes summoned green vegetation and a clear scene.

It is difficult to detect the depth of the water by dipping bamboo poles into the water or connecting silk threads. The water chestnut leaves and lotus flowers on the water surface are as clean as if they have been wiped clean. When the boat reaches the center of the lake, it feels like it has arrived at the empty and clear Bohai Sea. The Zhongnan peaks are reflected in the endless lake and turn black. The southern half of the lake in Meipi is completely filled with the reflection of Zhongnan Mountain, and the reflection is gently swaying in the calm water.

At dusk, the ship's side passed by the Dading Temple in Tianji Mountain. The moonlight reflected on the water in Meipi was exactly the moon rising from Lantian Pass in the southeast. At night, the lights on the shore of Meipi Lake are reflected in the distance, like a Li dragon spitting out pearls, the music can be heard from afar, like Feng Yi playing drums, and the cruise ships passing by are like dragons chasing each other.

The beauties on the cruise ship, such as Xiang Fei and Han women, reappeared, singing and dancing for people. The light of golden branches and green flags flickered with the moonlight, disappearing and appearing. After a while, I saw the clouds were sinking, so I was worried that a thunderstorm was coming. In the confusion, I really didn't know what the gods were thinking. It can be seen from this that when you think about how long you can stay young and strong, what should you do when you are approaching old age? The alternation of sorrow and joy in life is always like this. How many times like this cannot pass by!

Du Fu (712-770), courtesy name Zimei, was of Han nationality, originally from Xiangyang, Hubei, and later moved to Gong County, Henan.

Self-named Shaoling Yelao, he was a great realist poet in the Tang Dynasty. Together with Li Bai, he was known as "Li Du". In order to distinguish them from the other two poets Li Shangyin and Du Mu, known as "Little Li Du", Du Fu and Li Bai are also collectively known as "Big Li Du", and Du Fu is often called "Old Du". ?Extended information

Du Fu was born in the Du family in Jingzhao, a noble family in the north. His distant ancestor was Du Zhou, a famous cruel official of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, and his grandfather Du Shenyan. Du Fu and Du Mu, another great poet in the Tang Dynasty, namely "Xiao Li Du", were both descendants of Du Yu, a great scholar and famous general in the Jin Dynasty. However, the two factions were far apart. Du Fu was descended from Du Dan, the second son of Du Yu, while Du Mu was descended from Du Yin, the youngest son of Du Yu.

When Du Fu was a teenager, he lived a relatively stable and prosperous life due to his superior family environment. He was eager to learn since he was a child, and could compose poems at the age of seven. "At the age of seven, he is strong when he thinks about it, and he chants the phoenix with his mouth." He was also very naughty when he was a boy. "When I look back at the fifteenth year, I was still a child, and I am as strong as a yellow calf walking back. In August, pears and jujubes are ripe in front of the court, and I can climb a tree a thousand times in one day."

When he was 19 years old in the 19th year of Kaiyuan, Du Fu traveled to Xunxia (now Linyi, Shandong). When he was twenty years old, he traveled to Wuyue for several years. In the 23rd year of Emperor Xuanzong's reign (735), Du Fu returned to his hometown to participate in the "township tribute". In the 24th year, he took the Jinshi examination in Luoyang and failed. Du Fu's father was the Sima of Yanzhou at that time, so Du Fu went to Yanzhou to visit relatives and began his tour of Qi and Zhao.

In April of the third year of Tianbao (744), Du Fu met Li Bai in Luoyang, who had been given gold and released by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. The two made an appointment to travel to Liang and Song Dynasties (today's Kaifeng and Shangqiu areas in Henan Province). After that, Du Fu went to Qizhou (today's Jinan, Shandong).

In the autumn of the seventh year of Tianbao (748), Du Fu went to Yanzhou to meet Li Bai. The two of them visited immortals and Taoism together, talked about poems and essays, and formed the friendship of "Drunk Sleep in Autumn, Hand in Hand" The friendship of "walking together every day". At the end of autumn, the two shook hands and said goodbye. Du Fu ended his wandering life of "debauchery between Qi and Zhao, and his horses were quite wild" and returned to Chang'an.

Later, Du Fu had to go upstream for more than 200 miles from Leiyang to Chenzhou. At this time, the flood had not receded. Du Fu originally wanted to return north, but then he changed his plan and went down the river and turned back. Tanzhou. In the winter of the fifth year of the Dali calendar (770), Du Fu died on a small boat from Tanzhou to Yueyang. He was fifty-nine years old.
