Ji Kang is one of the seven sages of bamboo forest.

Ji Kang, a famous man at that time, put his name above the world, was dissatisfied with Sima's power, and often made some actions that violated the etiquette and showed contempt and hostility to Sima. Because of his jealousy, Ji Kang was arrested and executed by Sima. Ji Kangshan played the piano, and when he was executed, he asked for a piece of fiddle and then killed it. It was this song "Guangling San" that was played, and all the listeners were moved. After Ji Kang's death, no one in the world could play this song again, and Guangling San was lost. Later generations have a cloud that "Guangling Sanqu will eventually die", which refers to this matter.
