Wangjiang Park is located on the bank of Jinjiang River at Jiuyan Bridge in Chengdu. It is said that Xue Tao, a female poet in the Tang Dynasty, once drew water from the well here and made hand-made poem labels, leaving many sad and touching poems.
In the Ming and Qing dynasties, buildings such as Chongli Pavilion, Zhuojin Tower, Huanjian Pavilion, Wuyunxian Pavilion, Liubei Pool and Quanxiang Pavilion were built here.
As soon as you enter the gate, you will see a lush bamboo forest. Because Xue Tao loved bamboo all his life, later generations planted all kinds of beautiful bamboos in the garden, many of which are famous, such as human-faced bamboo. , Maitreya bamboo, square bamboo, Guanyin bamboo, chicken claw bamboo, etc., there are more than 100 varieties.

The Chongli Pavilion in the park, commonly known as the "Wangjiang Tower", is more than 30 meters high and once became a symbol of Chengdu.
Xue Tao loves bamboo, and the park also features bamboo, with more than 100 varieties.

The most magnificent building in Wangjiang Tower Park is the 39-meter-high Wangjiang Tower, also known as Chongli Pavilion. The roof ridges and sparrows of each floor are decorated with exquisite clay sculptures of animals and human figures.
The top of the pavilion is a gilded treasure roof. Under the bright sun, the golden light is shining and dazzling.
The design is ingenious, with cornices and carved beams, and it is majestic.
Climbing up the tower and looking into the distance, you can see the outstanding figures and the spring scenery of Jinjiang River.
In addition, the Poetry Building is open on all sides and has three stacks depending on each other; the Zhuojin Building has two floors and three rooms, shaped like a boat.
One pavilion, two floors and the adjacent Wuyunxian Pavilion form a garden building complex rich in Sichuan style.
Wangjianglou Park is located in a lush forest and bamboo on the bank of the Jinjiang River outside the east gate of Chengdu, covering an area of ??176.5 acres.
The park is lined with willow stone railings, shimmering shadows of buildings, green bamboo paths, and pavilions. It is a historic site and tourist attraction commemorating the female poet Xue Tao of the Tang Dynasty. It is now a cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province.
The Chongli Pavilion and Zhuojin Tower in the garden stand on the river and are the main buildings in the garden.
Xue Tao, also known as Hongdu, was originally from Chang'an and lived in Shu with his father as an official. He was smart, studious and outstanding in intelligence since he was a child.
After the death of his father, he was enrolled in the music register at the age of fifteen due to family poverty.
She was good at poetry and prose, and was good at practicing music. She was known as the school girl at that time.
According to records, Xue Tao has 500 poems. Famous poets Yuan Zhen, Du Mei, Bai Juyi, etc. at the same time as her all admired her very much and wrote poems to sing to each other.
Unfortunately, most of these poems were lost, and only about ninety of them have survived to this day. In the late Qing Dynasty, there was a single woodcut version of "Hongdu Collection".
In his later years, Xue Tao made his own small crimson paper in Bijifang, where he lived, which was known as "Xue Tao's paper" in the world and was copied by many in the past dynasties.
After her death, she was buried near Wangjianglou Park.
