Zhuge Liang's Longzhong Dui analyzes the world: persuade Liu Bei not to argue with Cao Cao.

Liu Bei visited the cottage and got Zhuge Liang's "Longzhong Dui". In Longzhong Dui, Zhuge Liang analyzed the general trend of the country from three aspects: weather, geography and people, and provided Liu Bei with a general plan for governing the country. The original selection of Longzhong Dui is as follows:

Since Dong Zhuo, heroes have joined forces, and those who cross the state and even the county are invincible. Compared with Yuan Shao, Cao Cao is less famous and has fewer people. And Cao Cao can overcome salt and make the weak strong, which is not only beneficial to the terrain, but also beneficial to others. Today, there are millions of Cao Cao, holding the emperor to make the princes. This sincerity can't compete with the front. Sun Quan, who lived in Jiangdong for three generations, has always been attached to the country and the people, and can make good use of it, which can be compared with helping without painting. Jingzhou is bordered by Han and Mian in the north, benefiting from it; it is connected with Tongba and Shu in the east and adjacent to it in the west. This is a martial arts country, but its master can't keep it, so it's almost natural to be a general. Yizhou is a dangerous place, fertile land is thousands of miles away, and the land of abundance makes Gaozu emperor. Liu Zhang is weak, Zhang Lu is in the north, the people are rich but don't know how to keep shirts, and the wise think of the wise. The general is the emperor's palace, and the letter is everywhere. If there are advantages and benefits beyond it, we can protect his rock resistance, appease Rong and Yue, improve the relationship with Sun Quan, implement politics at home, and change his appearance from time to time, then he can succeed in his career and prosper the Han Dynasty.

From "from Dong Zhuo" to "this sincerity can't compete with the front", Zhuge Liang clearly pointed out that Cao Cao not only "relied on the emperor to make the princes", but also occupied favorable terrain, with many civil servants and military commanders around him, with millions of people. Other heroes could not compete with him in human feelings and society, so he advised Liu Bei not to compete with him. From "Sun Quan has the east of the Yangtze River" to "this can be aided but not profitable", Zhuge Liang believes that Sun Quan is in danger of the Yangtze River and occupies favorable terrain. Through the accumulation of Sun Jian and Sun Ce, people and aspects have reached Sun Quan's Three Works, and the foundation of "attaching to the people" and "employing people for it" is very solid. Therefore, it is suggested that Liu Bei should not have the intention of annexing Dongwu, and the best strategy is to use Sun Quan.

From "Jingzhou was occupied by the Han Dynasty in the north" to "the prosperity of the Han Dynasty", Zhuge Liang pointed out that Jingzhou was a "country of martial arts" and "Yizhou was in danger and prosperous", and it was known as the land of abundance since ancient times. Emperor Gaozu made his fortune from Yizhou that year. Liu Bei is advised to take advantage of "Liu Zhang's weakness" and Zhang Lu's ignorance to occupy the two states of Jing and Yi, take advantage of the favorable geographical conditions of the two states to protect themselves, make peace with the "Zhurong" in the west and "Yiyue" in the south, build good relations with Sun Quan, and strive for more people's and popular support. Zhuge Liang believed that if Liu Bei acted according to this strategy, he would have a chance to revive the Han Dynasty.

Liu Bei appreciates Zhuge Liang's "Long Zhong Dui" and thinks that getting Zhuge Liang is like "fish and water". Later, Liu Bei borrowed Sun Quan from Jingzhou to attack Liu Zhang and seize Yizhou in Shu. After Zhang Lu surrendered to Cao Cao, Liu Bei and Cao Cao competed for Hanzhong and defeated Cao Cao. In its heyday, it had Jingzhou and Bashu areas, which realized the policy set by Zhuge Liang and made it a generation overlord.
