Creative background: Yu Qian studied hard and had great ambitions since childhood. According to legend, one day, he wandered into a lime kiln and watched the masters calcine lime. I saw piles of blue-black rocks, which were burned by the raging fire and turned into white lime.
He was deeply moved and wrote this poem after a little thinking. It is said that Yu Qian was only twelve years old at this time. He wrote this poem not only as a portrayal of lime image, but also as his future life pursuit.
