Famous poets such as Chen Ziang, Wang Wei, Li Bai, Du Fu, Meng Jiao, Bai Juyi, Liu Yuxi, Li He, Su Shi, Su Zhe, Lu You and Shen Qing left many beautiful poems.
During his two years in Fengjie, Du Fu wrote more than 430 poems, accounting for two-seventh of all his works.
Liu Yuxi created a new style of "Zhi Zhu Ci" on the basis of Kuiyu Bayu folk songs.
In modern times, many scholars and revolutionary heroes have left their masterpieces. Nowadays, Fengjie people are also very coquettish and have many works. The well-known "early release of Bai Di City", a colorful cloud that bid farewell to Bai Di, will return in Jiangling one day. The cries of apes on both sides of the strait are still unconsciously crowing in their ears, and the canoe has passed the heavy green hills. It says Fengjie. Therefore, Fengjie has the reputation of "Poetry City".
