Creative background:
This poem was written in the 24th year of Kaiyuan (736). In the early years of Tianbao of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Bai was recommended by Taoist wujun, and was accepted by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, ordering Li Bai to worship the Hanlin. Soon, due to the slander of powerful people, Li Bai was expelled from Beijing in Tianbao three years (744), and Tang Xuanzong paid back the money. Since then, Li Bai has been wandering around the Jianghuai area, and his thoughts are extremely annoyed, and he has once again embarked on a long journey of traveling around the mountains and rivers of the motherland.
When Li Bai wrote this poem, it was eight years since Li Bai was "given gold and returned" by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. During this period, Li Bai and his friend Cen Xun (Master Cen) were invited to Angelababy, another friend of Songshan, Yuan Danqiu. The three of them climbed the mountain, held a banquet and sang songs through wine.
The poet was politically excluded and frustrated, and his ideal could not be realized. They often drown their sorrows in wine. The joy of life is nothing more than having friends at cocktail parties, and the author happens to be in a shortage of talents, so his mind is full of untimely wine to arouse poems to express his dissatisfaction.
About the author:
Li Bai (70 1-762), whose real name is Taibai, also known as "purple laity" and "fallen fairy", was a great romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty, and was praised as "poetic fairy" by later generations, and was also called "Du Li" with Du Fu. In order to distinguish himself from two other poets, Li Shangyin and Du Mu, that is, "Little Du Li", Du Fu and Li Bai merged again.
According to the Book of the New Tang Dynasty, Li Bai is the ninth grandson of Gui Li, the king of Liang, and he is a descendant of all kings. He is cheerful and generous, loves to drink and write poems, and likes to make friends.
Li Bai was deeply influenced by Huang Lao's idea of sorting out villages. Li Taibai's poems have been handed down from generation to generation, and most of his poems were written when he was drunk. His representative works include Looking at Lushan Waterfall, it is hard to go, Difficult Road to Shu, Entering Wine, Liang, The First Building of Baidicheng, etc.
