Tiger Catching, Huang Jingren
When the stars set on the empty mountain at night, the green maple was whispering and the clouds were cold.
Thousand rocks are unpredictable, leaving a deserted beach in the daytime.
Businessmen are afraid to cross in groups, while mountain catchers sit at night.
Grandfather stayed with the tiger fighting party, and the tiger was a wonderful commodity.
if a mountain man catches a tiger and catches a dog, the tiger treader bows and goes away in anger.
growl at the grass, and laugh at the tied hands.
if you catch a tiger, you should sacrifice it first, and you will forget the tiger's injury if you drink and eat.
Tiger skin sells human flesh for food, and it was also the king of the mountains in those days!
There are countless traps, only calling bobcats but not tigers.
well, it's nothing, so why bother making you make you!
among Huang Jingren's famous seven-character ancient customs, there are two poems about tigers, one is "Walking around a tiger" and the other is "Catching a tiger". After reading the titles of these two poems, we can't help but ask: Why didn't this poet write about tigers dominating the mountains and intimidating all kinds of animals, but only about these tigers trapped, caught and wagged their tails? Thinking about it, I remembered a few words in Sima Qian's Letter to Ren Shaoqing-
"Tigers are in the mountains, and all animals are frightened; And in the trap, wagging its tail for food, the accumulation of prestige is gradually. "
I remember two old sayings: "A tiger falls in Pingyang and is bullied by a dog." "An open gun is easy to hide, but an open arrow is hard to guard against."
When I think about this, it suddenly dawns on me that although tigers are not always caged and captured by people, there are indeed people who are insulted by dogs and sheep because they have the words of tigers and leopards. What Huang Jingren wrote is such a typical example. He is writing about all beings in society and the relationship between people. Like Sima Qian, he is writing about himself.
With such a general understanding, we can follow this idea, and then savor the ancient style of Tiger Catching.
the poem is * * * 2 sentences, four of which have a rhyme, a rhyme and a meaning, and the composition is orderly. The first rhyme is four sentences about the life of tigers in the mountains. "Pivot Star", namely "Tian Shu", is the first star of the Big Dipper. "Pivoting the stars at night" is already late at night; Tigers roared in the silent mountain forest (empty mountain), as if shaking leaves rustling. At this time, the evil wind suddenly occurred, which made people feel chilling. The third sentence says: at night, tigers haunt the mountains; In the daytime, but see the desolate beach, leaving its majestic footprints. This rhyme focuses on the tiger's activities, with the word "number" to write its voice, and the word "footprint" to write its presence, all with a virtual pen, while the tiger's voice and prestige are full of vitality. In the second rhyme, the following four sentences are changed into "catching" and "beating". "Sitting at night" is used to describe the spy of the tiger catcher, and "making strange goods" is used to describe the fate of the tiger after being arrested. This couplet is a transition, and it is only a general description of catching tigers, but the transformation is flexible and gradually enters the topic. The third rhyme "mountain man" four sentences, write the front of hunting. Use details to describe and write vividly and with great spirit. Four poems, written in the arrow of the tiger, ambush "mountain man". A woman with a clever mind secretly set up a machine to wait on the other side for one time in a thousand times without paying attention; One knows how to be willful, and goes straight ahead, thinking that with his own skills, he is not afraid of anything. As a result, the tiger accidentally stepped on the crossbow machine, was poisoned by an arrow, ran in anger and fell down; The hunter came out empty-handed with a smile and tied the tiger effortlessly. He "catches a tiger like a dog", which shows that he is used to laying hands on him in secret, and he is skillful in tricks. The last two sentences of this rhyme are compared with those of the tiger with a roaring arrow and the hunter with a smile. One is relaxed and the other is called a smile, which not only vividly depicts the scene of catching tigers, but also vividly describes two kinds of mentality and two faces, making people feel like seeing and hearing.
The fourth rhyme is the aftermath of catching a tiger, which complements it from another side and deepens the theme. "Being a leader" is a ghost walking in front of the tiger. As the old saying goes, after a person is bitten by a tiger, he becomes a ghost, walks with the tiger, guides the tiger to bite other people, and acts as a tiger's guard, so he must sacrifice the tiger first. When the ghost gets drunk, he forgets the safety of the tiger, so that the hunter can get it easily. Limited food and drink, unpredictable people! For the sake of a small favor, the king of Zhongshan was finally laid to sleep and ate his flesh. At this point, how can you not lament for the people of the world! In the social struggle, it is common to buy off the scum in the other camp with money and profit, and instigate him to betray his old master, just as Qin Gui instigated Wang Jun and Wang Gui in the Yue family army to falsely accuse Yue Fei of rebellion. As a result, the best among the people died in the dark, and the king in the mountain suffered the same thing.
in the last rhyme, the poet makes comments, expresses his feelings and sends deep affection. "There are countless traps", and too many people have been blindsided and betrayed. You see, once the tiger fell into the trap, even its name changed. "Just call the bobcat, not the tiger." Jingchu used to think that "tiger" and "snake" were all fierce things, so he confessed that the tiger was only called the bobcat. Here, the poet skillfully uses folk customs, turning the meaning of taboo into the name of contempt and insult. This sentence of "only calling bobcats" is cold and indignant, and it is profound. While lamenting the advice, the poet deeply realized a philosophy of life: "Well, it's not necessary to rely on it!" This can be said to be the poet's profound understanding of observing the world and experiencing life: without relying on it, it is impossible to escape the plot against him. It says here: "Why bother making your monarch make your son!" Send infinite sympathy, because the poet himself is a person who has nothing to rely on, so he even called "the monarch" and cited it as the same disease. "Your Majesty" is another name for a tiger. According to Shu Yi Ji, in the Han Dynasty, the satrap of Xuancheng sealed Shao, and after his death, he became a tiger and ate the residents of the county. Residents shouted "Seal the monarch" to the tiger, and the tiger fled and never came again. Here, the tiger is called "the monarch", and the story of the ancients is very cordial, which embodies the poet's love and hatred, and makes the tiger and man more closely connected, and the theme is more awake.
This poem is included in the addendum to The Collection of Two Dangxuan. I don't know when it was written. However, "Walking around the Tiger" was written by Zhong Ze at the age of 32, so it is estimated that the writing age of this "Walking to Catch the Tiger" will not be far away from here. Because only when people reach middle age and look at the world coldly can they have such a profound understanding of life. The tiger catcher in the poem is the object of satire by the poet. Because, this kind of person secretly sets up a machine, conspires to spy on it, which is hard to prevent. Poor people who go straight and make a fuss are calculated by these villains. The poet sighs for the tiger, cherishes others and mourns for himself. In his short life, he has never been stabbed in the back and slandered! "Zhuangzi Tian Di Pian" said: "I have heard that my teacher, if he has machinery, he will do things organically, and if he has organic things, he will have an organic mind. If the heart is in the chest, it will be pure white. " In "The Theory of All Things", it is also said: "If it happens, its division (waiting) is right and wrong." The meaning of these two sentences is: this kind of person launches an attack just like throwing a sharp arrow, specifically spying on the right and wrong of others to attack. Jing ren's poem, why is it so embarrassing? There is anger, exposure and cynicism in the poem. It's like a mourning song for the last hero. Han nursery rhymes say: "Straight as a string, dead on the side of the road; Curved like a hook, anti-sealing Hou. " Life is like this, society is like this, and what Jing Ren sees and suffers is like this. The poet grasps the typical events and scenes from real life, explores their inside information and reveals the potential and essential things in them, which makes this poem have the power of inspiring people's minds, arousing people's minds and thinking.
On Zhong Zeshi's poems, Zhang Weiping said: "People * * * have an intention, and they are superior when they enter this hand; Everyone has the same feelings, and this pen is unique. ..... There is a smell outside, so I never tire of it; There is a voice outside the sound, so the longer you listen to it. " "Catching a Tiger" is a philosophical poem with an overtone and an overtone. Huang Zhong is very good at refining sentences. The language of this poem is vigorous, refined, simple and fluent, and has strong expressive force. Poems such as "A mountain man catches a tiger if he catches a dog", "He was also the king in the mountain in those days" and "Only calling the bobcat but not the tiger" seem to come out easily. In fact, the feelings are restrained and have been tempered. And the whole flow is stirring, arbitrarily and vertically, and the strength of the bones is open, and the pens are full of enthusiasm, coming in and out between Changli and Dongpo, forming a realm of its own.
