The "Buddha's Infinite Life Sutra" says: Good people do good deeds, and gain enlightenment from the clear; evil people do evil, and get suffering from the suffering, and get dark from the dark. That is to say: Those who do good deeds will definitely get good consequences of good deeds, and those who do evil deeds will definitely get bad consequences. This is the law of nature. Karma and retribution last for three generations without any deviation.
