The original text and translation of the ancient poem "Night in the South Building" are as follows:

Nanlou Night, Du Mu

The jade tube and the golden bottle are endless at night, such as sad days and short years. Singing in the clear night, the moonlight is a brothel. On the pillow, I was stunned by the dream of fishing. Before the lamp, I was worried about other families. Thinking of today's heroic event, I have come to the end of my life.

On the pillow, I was stunned by the dream of fishing. Before the lamp, I was worried about other families. Thinking about today's heroic event, I lost my head when I interjected.
