Lu You’s life breathed the breath of the times, shouted the battle cry of the Northern Expedition to resist the Jin Dynasty, and showed a high degree of Patriotic fervor. The poem "Showing Children" is Lu You's final work. It was written in the third year of Jiading of Ningzong (1210).
