Wuyishan landscape poems are the most classic.

The most classic poems about Wuyishan scenery are as follows:

Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, not as good as Wuyishan. The water in the stream smells like blue and attacks people and grows grass. Small fish play with each other and are suitable for immortals to live in. In the nine bends, the dots are arranged in the water and the peaks are in the basin. Wuyi is in this state because the clouds are deep. Every spring comes to the southeast wind, and the simple stream is slightly warm first. Strange tea beside the stream is the best in the world.

The origin of the name

Wuyi Mountain is also called Hu Yi. According to historical legend, in the Tang Dynasty, Peng Zu and his second son Wu Yueyi lived in seclusion in the southwest township of Chong 'an at the foot of the mountain. Because local floods often flood, Wu Peng and Peng Yi began to cut stones and dig canals to divert floods. At that time, in order to commemorate them, people called the small earth-rock mountain piled up when they dug the river "Wuyi Mountain".

Later, the mountain range at the junction of Xiong Zhi and Jiangxi was also called Wuyishan. However, according to scholars of Jiangxi Institute of Archaeology, "Wuyishan was originally named Hu Yi. It was named after the ancient Dongyi "Tiger Side" that moved from Jianghuai to Jiangxi in Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Later, Hu Yishan was mistaken for Wuyishan because Tang Gaozu Li Yuan's grandfather was named Li Hu and the Tang people were afraid of tigers as weapons.
