Siyang County belongs to Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, located in the north of Jiangsu Province and the east of Suqian City, and belongs to the Yangtze River Delta region. It is a cross-radiation area along Huaihai Economic Circle, Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle and Canal Town Axis.

In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it was renamed Siyang County because it had the same name as Taoyuan County, Hunan Province, the hometown of Kuomintang veteran Song. In the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939), the Japanese army captured Siyang and the county seat was destroyed. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the anti-Japanese democratic regime in Siyang County was established.
In the thirty-eighth year of the Republic of China (1949), the fourth uncle merged with Siyang in May, and the original Siyang was basically restored. The county government is located in Zhongxing Town and belongs to Huaiyin District. From 65438 to 0983, the system of city governing county was implemented, and Siyang County was subordinate to Huaiyin City. 1996, Suqian City was established, and Siyang County was transferred from Huaiyin City to Suqian City.
