? When I was a child, I went to Beishan to pick wild mushrooms every time after the rain. My mood can really be described by the poet Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty, "After the rain, the mountains are empty and the autumn stands late." Although I don't like my mother asking me to do other farm work, I just like picking wild mushrooms in the mountains.
? Wild mushrooms are picked in summer and autumn. After a rain, the mushrooms in the mountains will quietly stir up.
There are many kinds of trees in Shan Ye. Not all trees have edible mushrooms. In our hometown, only pine forest, chestnut forest and oak forest (commonly known as glass leaf tree in my home) have edible fungi. Mushrooms grown in pine forest are mainly Tricholoma matsutake and meat mushroom, chestnut mushroom is mainly in chestnut forest, hazelnut mushroom and a mushroom commonly known as crispy mushroom in my hometown are mainly in oak forest. Other forests generally don't. Some forests and grassy slopes also have all kinds of unknown and beautiful mushrooms, but we won't pick them because most of them are poisonous mushrooms and can't be eaten. Such beautiful mushrooms will kill people.
? In summer, there are many white straw mushrooms on the grass in Shan Ye. This mushroom is not poisonous, so we won't pick it. Everyone likes to quickly pick the few wild edible fungi in the mountains after the rain. Because wild mushrooms only have a life span of a few days, they will rot, mold and deteriorate in dark and humid trees after a long time. Really: slow hands.
After the rain, everyone put down their farm work to pick wild mushrooms. Everyone knows where there are many, and they are afraid to go late and not pick them. So after the rain stopped, everyone went up the mountain, some with stars in the morning and some with flashlights at night. However, I am in no hurry, because there are clever tricks to pick more wild mushrooms!
The secret of picking more mushrooms is that I am not afraid of the distance, the dense forest and the steep slope.
? Let's talk about the road first. Picking wild mushrooms in the mountains is physical work, but physical strength is not good. It is best not to pick mushrooms in distant mountains. The farthest mountain that my friends and I have been to is the shady slope of Maoshan near the Great Wall. There are many pine forests and mushrooms about three kilometers away from my home, most of which are steep slopes. The steepest steep slope is called a stone ladder, which goes straight up and down. Every time I climb here, it takes about twenty minutes, stop and go, sweating like a pig. When I walked this mountain road in Maoshan, my legs began to swell, and I was numb when I returned. However, the Tricholoma matsutake and meat mushroom on the north slope of Maoshanding are too attractive to everyone, and the mushrooms there are recognized as the best quality wild mushrooms in the mountains around our village.
? There is such a standard to evaluate the quality of mushrooms: the smaller the better. Don't be a big mushroom. A good mushroom is smaller than a child's half palm, because it is a young mushroom that has just grown out of the ground. It better be fresh. Mushrooms, big or small, grow in hidden grass, fresh and harmless, and are all good mushrooms. This kind of good mushroom can only be found in this pine forest field of about 100 mu at the northern foot of Maoshan Mountain. Therefore, adults and children with good physical strength in the village will climb the mountain to pick mushrooms here at the first time after the rain. We usually use a small basket instead of a small Vitex basket for picking mushrooms in Beishan. One important reason is that baskets are easy to climb, and another reason is that many mushrooms can be picked here after the rain.
? Besides, Lin is not afraid of secrecy. Wild mushrooms rarely grow on easy-to-see hillsides, but mostly grow in dense forests and bushes. Yes, the careless mushroom picker actually hid the mushrooms in the grass of the forest, because the forest was dense and the grass was deep, so the careless person didn't see them. I remember once picking mushrooms with my friends in the pine forest on the shady slope of Beishan, one kilometer away from the village.
? There are about 50 acres of mountains here. Because it is close to the village, we can't see any mushrooms on the bright side of the forest. Other friends picked it for more than two hours, but they didn't pick many mushrooms. They felt tired and began to be naughty. This time, I didn't play with them. I turned my eyes to the steep thorn slope at the foot of the mountain that everyone didn't want to enter. I almost climbed in, my clothes were cut, and there were still several blood stains on my face. However, I didn't flinch. I used a wooden stick to poke through the grass and searched carefully. Finally, I found three mushroom bushes in this remote place, filled with my little basket. On my way home, I looked at some mushrooms in my friend's basket. I strut, like a victorious soldier, and my heart is full of joy.
I won't talk about the topic that slopes are not afraid of steepness, but I have talked a lot about it before.
? How to eat wild mushrooms in our hometown? There are fresh fried, stewed, dried and stored. Let's talk about fresh frying first. After washing the mushrooms, fry them directly with pork belly slices and vegetables. After cooking, it is a delicious Shan Ye jungle flavor. Green vegetables with mushrooms include green pepper, watermelon and celery, and can also be fried with bean slices. In addition, stews are generally stewed with mushroom vermicelli and mushroom chestnut.
A large number of mushrooms collected after rain are mainly dried and stored, which are used when there are guests in a year or during the New Year. Drying mushrooms is also a technical job, which most people can't do. Because the mushroom picking season is mostly rainy season, mushrooms usually take about a week to dry thoroughly. If it catches up with rainy days and is not well preserved, it will go moldy and deteriorate in two or three days. Therefore, experienced housewives will roll up half a mat on their own fire kang and slowly dry the mushrooms to prevent deterioration.
? With the approach of spring, I seem to see the mountains in my hometown slowly covered with green clothes and slowly entered the rainy summer. In the forest, wild mushrooms grow slowly.
