Huayin city has a long history, rich culture and arts. Throughout the ages, talented people have emerged in large numbers, and writers and speakers have emerged one after another. Yang Zhen, a Kansai master in the Eastern Han Dynasty, has 30 volumes of Sun Tzu's Art of War by Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty, Ying by Yang Jiong, one of the four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty, two volumes of Jian Nan Ji by Yanwu, 450 volumes of Jasper Fang Lin by Meng Lizhen, and Mountain Records by Wang Hong in the early Qing Dynasty. There are thousands of volumes, some of which have been handed down from generation to generation. There are countless painters and calligraphers in various dynasties. Zhang Zhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty, wrote the No.1 Scholar's Post, Jiuhua Post in the Five Dynasties, and the Mihou Temple Monument written by Wang Hong in the early Qing Dynasty, all of which are called the "Three Wonders Monument", and many works in the Modern Painters' Garden are known for their stone paintings and passed down from generation to generation.
China traditional opera music was sung and danced in Sui and Tang Dynasties. After thousands of years of evolution and improvement, the confused Hu and the old tune in Qing Dynasty have been widely popular in huayin city. In the early years of the Republic of China, self-music classes and clubs such as Fanhu, Shaanxi Opera and Shadow Play developed. Later, black and white silent films were also introduced.
After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), huayin city Xinhua Bookstore, Cultural Center, Professional Troupe, Radio, Film Screening and other cultural institutions were established one after another, and cultural undertakings developed rapidly. 1977 set up TV differential turntable, 1979 set up county cultural relics management office, 1985 set up county library. The cultural life of the masses is increasingly active, and cultural undertakings are unprecedentedly prosperous.
