Allusions in the Eastern Jin Dynasty: Heaven is the bed of the earth.

"The sky is the quilt and the earth is the bed" means that a person is uncertain about his whereabouts and has no fixed place to live, so he takes the sky as the quilt and the earth as the bed, indulges his sincerity and is happy wherever he goes.

The only remaining article in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Ode to the Virtue of Wine, once described her life like this: "There is no trace of travel, no place to live, and the curtain is on the ground. Hold the cup when you stop, and carry the pot when you move. Only wine is business, how do you know the rest? " It reflects the metaphysics-advocating, negative and decadent mentality of celebrities in Wei and Jin Dynasties, and also shows their contempt for the etiquette of "Ming Jiao" and their yearning for nature. Later generations regarded Liu Ling as a typical example of flouting etiquette and drinking to drown their sorrows.

Liu Ling (the date of birth and death is unknown, about 22 1- 300 years), Bolun and Guo Pei (now Huaibei, Anhui), celebrities in Wei and Jin Dynasties, and Ruan Ji, Ji Kang, Dan Tao, Xiang Xiu, Wang Rong and Ruan Xian are also called "Seven Sages of Bamboo Forest".
