Grades 7 and 8 must memorize ancient poems: "Viewing the Sea", "Spring Journey to Qiantang Lake", and "Moon on the West River".
1. "Viewing the Sea" Cao Cao (Eastern Han Dynasty) walked east to Jieshi to view the sea. Where is the water? The mountains and islands are standing tall. There are many trees and lush grass. The autumn wind is bleak and the waves are rising. The movement of the sun and the moon can appear within it; the brilliant stars and stars can appear within it. Fortunately, even singing praises one's aspirations.
2. "Spring Tour of Qiantang Lake" Bai Juyi (Tang Dynasty) North of Gushan Temple and west of Jia Pavilion, the water surface is initially flat and the clouds are low. In several places, early orioles compete for warmth in the trees, while new swallows peck at the spring mud. The random flowers are gradually charming the eyes, and only Asakusa has no horse hooves. My favorite part of the lake is the east side of the lake, where the green poplar trees shade the white sand embankment.
3. "Moon over the Xijiang River" Xin Qiji (Southern Song Dynasty) The bright moon leaves the branches startled by magpies, and the breeze sings the cicadas in the middle of the night. The fragrance of rice flowers tells of a good harvest, and the sound of frogs sounds. There are seven or eight stars in the sky, two or three points of rain in front of the mountain. In the old days, by the forest of Maodian Society, I suddenly saw it when I turned around the head of the stream. The ancient road has a westerly wind and a thin horse. Sunset, heartbroken people in the horizon.
