Tang Libai
Li Bai will want to travel by boat,
Suddenly I heard singing on the shore.
Peach Blossom Lake is deep in thousands of feet,
Not as good as Wang Lun.
Li Bai wrote 100 poems about drinking, according to my unchanging habit all my life. According to Yuan Mei's Addendum to Poems in the Garden, Wang Lun, a complete stranger, wrote to Li Bai and invited him to visit Jingxian (now southern Anhui). The letter enthusiastically wrote: "How is your husband? There are miles of peach blossoms here. Is it delicious, sir? There are thousands of hotels here. " Li Bai left happily. See Wang Lun is a hero of Jingchuan, hospitable and charming. So I asked where the Taoyuan Restaurant was. Wang Lun said, "Peach blossom is also called pool water, but there is no peach blossom; Wanjia, the owner's surname is Ye Wan, there is no Wanjia Hotel. " Li Bai smiled and said, Leave for a few days and write down the poem as a farewell when you leave.
Obviously, this poem was blurted out by Li Bai, which naturally became wonderful, so it has been read by people all the time. However, because it is as natural as life, people often know what is wonderful, but not why. There are still some comments on three or four sentences of the poem by later poets, but the first two sentences are colloquial and straightforward. In fact, combined with the above background, the first two sentences are also extremely successful.
"Li Bai will go by boat" means that I will leave Taohuatan by boat. Spoken English simply flowed out without thinking, showing a natural and unrestrained manner of coming on impulse and returning after excitement.
The words "suddenly smell the song on the shore" and "suddenly smell" show that Wang Lun's arrival is really unexpected. I heard it before people arrived. From the warm and hearty singing, Li Bai expected that Wang Lun must have come to see me off.
This farewell shows that Li Bai and Wang Lun are both informal, happy and free people. In the secluded mountain village, there is no complicated etiquette sent by the upper class. Wang Lun didn't seem to be at home when Li Bai left. Wang Lun came back and learned that Li Bai had left. He immediately rushed to the ferry with wine to say goodbye. Li Bai, who left without saying goodbye, is free and easy and not polite; Wang Lun, who is singing farewell songs, is also generous and enthusiastic, and won't let the children touch the towel. In just fourteen words, they wrote down their optimistic personality and their informal friendship.
Perhaps it is because their thoughts and temperament are in harmony that Li Bai is cited as a homonym and Wang Lun's friendship is cherished. Affection, hence to the beauty of the peach blossom pool, affectionately to sing a way:
"Peach Blossom Lake is deep in thousands of feet, not as good as Wang Lun."
Combined with the situation here and now, these two poems seem to blurt out and have natural feelings. Poets often use the depth of water to compare the depth of people's feelings. For example, Wang Lun's friendship is really as deep as a pool of stagnant water, but it is generalized and smacks of poetry. The current writing is like two friends saying goodbye by the boat. One is "I advise you to have another glass of wine" and the other is "one glass after another". Li baijiu is full of passion and flying in the air. He raised his glass to the running water at his feet and said, "Peach Blossom Pond, not to mention how deep you are, is not as deep as Wang Lun's friendship!" There is an innocent and natural interest in the prospect of spoken language and eyes, which vaguely shows the great poet's uninhibited personality. Therefore, Shen Deqian of A Qing Dynasty said, "The love of Wang Lun is a common language, if compared with the love of thousands of feet. The wonderful place is just in a transition. " (Tang Poetry)
When the ancients wrote poems, they generally avoided calling them by their names, thinking that they had no taste. However, this poem begins with calling one's own name and ends with calling the other's name. On the contrary, it is sincere, kind, free and easy, and very affectionate.
"Clear water produces hibiscus, and carving is natural." Later generations love to use Li Bai's words to evaluate Li Bai's poems, which is very learned. It is true that Li Bai's improvisation of poetry is effortless. He is passionate, outspoken, naive and unpretentious, but he has an unexpected beauty. "Seemingly ordinary and strange" is dazzling and unremarkable, and this kind of kung fu is extremely difficult to learn. The above poem "To Wang Lun" embodies Li Bai's natural and delicate poetic style.
The traditional proposition of China's poetry is implication. For example, Yan Yu, a poetic theorist in the Song Dynasty, put forward four taboos in writing poetry: "The language should be straight and the meaning should be shallow. Avoid dew in the pulse, and the taste is short. " Shi Buhua, a poet in A Qing, also said that poetry "should not be expensive". However, the expressive characteristics of Li Bai's above poem are: frankness, directness and few words. Its "straight language" and its "pulse dew" are not shallow, but its "meaning" is stronger. Its "straightness" contains feelings, and the true feelings flow from the depths of the soul, so it is very artistic. Thus, the literary phenomenon is complicated. There are also various artistic techniques that cannot be "static"
2. Say goodbye to Meng Haoran on the way to Yangzhou
Therefore, people left the Yellow Crane Tower in the west.
Fireworks show off in Yangzhou in March.
Lonely sails and distant shadows are blue and empty,
I only see the daytime flow of the Yangtze River.
The first two sentences of this poem describe a friend going down to Yangzhou along the river. The word "fireworks" touches the spring scenery and flowers in Ruyan Liu, and the poet's melancholy mood when he bid farewell to his friends is fully revealed. The last two sentences deliberately describe friends' "western words", a lonely sail, accompanied by the poet's friends drifting to the distant place connected by water and sky, until the sail shadow disappeared at the end of the blue sky, but the poet still stood on the roof, staring at the distance, unwilling to leave. There is not a word in the poem to say goodbye, but between the lines, it clearly reveals the melancholy and nostalgia for distant friends. In the poet's works, deep feelings are contained in the touching scenery description, and the feelings and scenery have reached a highly perfect fusion.
Meng Haoran is a famous poet highly respected by Li Bai. He was once praised as "Master, I sincerely salute you, and your fame has risen to the sky". Roaming around the world famous mountains and cities is the fashion and open personality of the literati in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Li Bai, a young man living in Anlu, Hubei Province, has long had the travel experience of "serving the country with his sword, leaving his relatives behind to travel far and wide, and going to the sea in the south and the east". So he bid farewell to Meng Haoran, a famous poet in Wuchang, and went to Yangzhou, a famous city in Jiangzuo (called Guangling in ancient times). In the face of "three talents" linking famous buildings, celebrities and famous cities, he is full of poetry, and his feeling of the world is bright and beautiful, without any sadness. The first two sentences should have explained the time, place and destination of farewell, but this explanation was perceptual by the vivid image of "Fireworks March". Didn't Li Bai have a story of "dream pen gives birth to flowers"? Unexpectedly, as a symbol of his genius, flowers were born in his dream, which actually generated the March fireworks when he said goodbye. Before winning the prize, people called this sentence "eternal quatrain" The sky was also moved by the feeling of bright and beautiful world and became as empty as a shower. Beneath it, the popular Lonely Sail Far Shadow has a sense of loneliness and desolation. It draws the yearning for life in the vast sky. Life is like running water, parting is like running water. The eyes of infinite attachment, following the distant shadow of the solitary sail that disappeared out of sight, have become the great stream of the Yangtze River that lasts forever. The instant and eternal scene of sending a famous building to a famous city has become a poetic symbol of the prosperous tourism of poets in the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
3, don't Dongda [Tang] Gao Shi
During the day in Huang Yun, Wan Li,
The north wind blows geese and snow.
Don't worry about not knowing yourself,
Everyone in the world doesn't know you.
This is a farewell poem to the famous pianist Dong. During the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Hu music was popular, and few people could appreciate such ancient music as the lyre. Cui Jue has a poem: "Seven strings are cold and five tones, and this skill of knowing friends has been difficult since ancient times. Only Fang Zilu (Prime Minister of the Tang Dynasty) in Henan Province has always pitied Dong Lanting. " At this time, Gao Shi was also very frustrated, often wandering around and in a bad situation. However, in this farewell poem, his cheerful attitude and heroic style make his farewell speech passionate and inspiring. His Don't Move Big shows that he was still in a "poor" state of "no money to drink". This farewell work when I was dissatisfied in the early days can't help but "borrow someone else's cup and pour my own foundation." But the poet hopes to give people a feeling of self-confidence and strength in comfort. The reason why this poem is outstanding is that Gao Shi "has a thousand words in his heart and strong spirit" (Yin Kun's Heroes of He Yue) and "exalts himself with temperament" (Chronicle of Tang Poetry), so it can add color to people who yearn for it and wipe tears for wanderers! If it weren't for the poet's inner depression, how could he make his parting words so considerate and firm? How can we make this unpretentious language cast such beautiful, mellow and moving poems!
The first two sentences, "Thousands of miles away in Huang Yun, the white sky is shining, and the north wind is blowing goose feathers and snow one after another", describe the scene at that time in simple terms: the north wind roared, the yellow sand and Li Qian covered the sky, the clouds everywhere seemed to turn yellow, and the bright sunshine was indifferent at the moment, just like the afterglow of the sunset. It was snowing heavily, and the geese flew south neatly. In this bleak and magnificent environment, the poet bid farewell to the musician who was stunted but unappreciated. With its inner truth, write the mood of parting, so it can be profound; Only with a broad mind can we tell the scenery in front of us and be solemn and stirring. Huang Yun in the sunset, the vast wilderness, only the northern winter has this kind of scene. This kind of situation, if carved a little, will inevitably hurt the spirit. Height suits this. It's dusk and it's snowing heavily. In the north wind blowing wildly, only geese and Leng Yun appeared in the distance, which made it hard to stop the feeling of cold and wandering. Being reduced to this level by talent makes people cry, and that's the only way. Friends can't be content with the status quo. In the first two sentences, we can see the inner stagnation by telling the scenery. Although it has nothing to do with people, it has made people feel like they are in the snow, as if there are strong men whistling on the top of the mountain. If you don't do your best here, you can't see the wonderful turning point below, and you can't see the smoothness, good intentions, deep friendship and other meaning's sadness in the following words. The last two sentences are full of confidence and strength in comfort. Because he is a bosom friend, he speaks simply and generously. Because of its decline, it takes hope as comfort.
The last two sentences, "Mochow has a vast road ahead, and everyone in the world doesn't know you", are comforting friends: you won't worry about meeting your bosom friends when you visit here. Everyone in the world doesn't know you, Dong! How loud and powerful the words are, full of confidence and strength in comfort, inspiring friends to struggle and struggle. In the farewell poems of the Tang Dynasty, those sad and touching works are certainly touching, but another kind of generous and sad poem from the heart, with its sincere friendship and firm belief, painted another heroic and bodybuilding color for the willow color of Baqiao Bridge and the wind and rain of Weicheng City. Gao Shi's Don't Move Big is a masterpiece of the latter style.
