Due to the country's vigorous promotion of Putonghua, Guizhou dialect tends to be assimilated by Putonghua. In the Guizhou dialect spoken by many people, many initials and finals gradually became Mandarin, and the rhetoric of local dialects gradually disappeared.

Tone:
Except for those with reserved tones, such as Duyun, Danzhai, Liping and Majiang, there are five tones, and most areas, such as Guiyang, have reached Yangping, with only four tones.
Guiyang dialect sounds like two sounds of Putonghua, a little like three sounds, without turning, and the euphemistic part behind it is omitted; Three tones are a bit like four tones, but they are not completely similar; Four tones read a bit like two tones, and the key value is relatively low.
