Who is the author of Hongyan's novels

The author of Red Rock is two modern writers in China, Luo Guangbin and Yang Yiyan. Luo Guangbin and Yang Yiyan are both Sichuanese and Communist party member. Red Rock is a novel in the form of memoirs with the background of the Red Revolution. The original name of Hongyan is Immortality in Fire.

Luo Guangbin writer is a student of Academician Yang Zhenning, a famous scientist in China. Because they participated in people's liberation and national liberation, they were detained by the Kuomintang in Zhazidong and Baigongguan concentration camps. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Luo Guangbin took an active part in literary creation, and Red Rock was written at this time. During the Cultural Revolution, because of persecution, he finally committed suicide by jumping off a building at the age of 43.

The revolutionary experiences of Yang Yiyan and Luo Guangbin are very similar, also because they both participated in the revolutionary movement in their early years, and both were arrested and imprisoned in Chongqing Zhazidong. After liberation, Yang Yiyan and Luo Guangbin both worked in Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, because they both had experiences of imprisonment.
