Luo Guangbin writer is a student of Academician Yang Zhenning, a famous scientist in China. Because they participated in people's liberation and national liberation, they were detained by the Kuomintang in Zhazidong and Baigongguan concentration camps. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Luo Guangbin took an active part in literary creation, and Red Rock was written at this time. During the Cultural Revolution, because of persecution, he finally committed suicide by jumping off a building at the age of 43.
The revolutionary experiences of Yang Yiyan and Luo Guangbin are very similar, also because they both participated in the revolutionary movement in their early years, and both were arrested and imprisoned in Chongqing Zhazidong. After liberation, Yang Yiyan and Luo Guangbin both worked in Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, because they both had experiences of imprisonment. Later, I asked someone to sort out the materials of Zhazidong and Baigongguan, and determined that the novel was written by these two people.
