Ba Jin, formerly known as Li Yaotang, is a modern writer, publisher and translator. At the same time, he is also known as one of the most influential writers since the "May 4th" New Culture Movement. He is an outstanding Chinese literary master in the 20th century and a giant in China's contemporary literary world. In his later years, Ba Jin proposed the establishment of a Museum of Modern Chinese Literature and a Museum of the Cultural Revolution. He published the novels "Spring" and "Autumn" (the third part and "Home") in 1938 and 1940 respectively, completing the "Torrent Trilogy". 19

Seeing that he seemed to be thinking about something, he asked why. Li Yaotang told the truth and said he wanted to find a word that was easy to remember. Zhan Jianfeng was an enthusiastic person. When he saw the book "Ethics" by Kropotkin that Li Yaotang was translating spread out on the table, he pointed and said: "Let's use Kropotkin's 'gold'." So Li Yaotang said happily Nodding: "Okay, let's call it 'Ba Jin'. It's easy to pronounce and easy to remember." Then he wrote the word "金" after the word "Ba".
