Extended data:
The meter of five-character quatrains is mainly manifested in three aspects:
1, fixed length. There are only four sentences in the whole article, each with five words, totaling 20 words.
2. Rhyme is strict. Poetry rhymes, some rhymes with each other, some rhymes with each other. There is no essential difference between them and classical poetry in rhyme. The rhyme of five-character quatrains is strictly manifested in the fact that they generally only rhyme flat and cannot rhyme, that is to say, they are not allowed to rhyme, and the rhyming feet must use words with the same rhyme, and words with adjacent rhymes are not allowed. However, after the late Tang Dynasty, the rhyme tradition that the first sentence can be borrowed from neighboring rhymes gradually formed.
3. Pay attention to leveling. On the basis of "flat" and "flat", a syllable is added to form the four sentence patterns of "flat" and "flat", which are combined into four basic formats according to the law of fitting, that is, the first sentence does not rhyme, the first sentence does not rhyme and the first sentence does not rhyme.
