Lingguan temple architecture

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many Lingguan temples have been established all over the country, and many Taoist temples have also specially built Gong Ling Temple, which has shaped Gong Ling statues with different images. Among them, the most famous ones are Baiyun Temple in Beijing, Niangniang Palace in Tianjin, Changchun Temple in Wuhan, Mystery Temple in Suzhou and Gong Ling Palace in Yuanhe Temple in Wudang Mountain. The most interesting thing is that there is also a saying of "500 Lingguan" in Wudang Mountain, Hubei Province. In Tianyi Zhenqing Palace (also known as Nanyan Hall), there are 500 bronze statues of Lingguan decorated with gold, each of which is several feet high and has different expressions. According to the Records of Taihe Mountain, when Prince Jingle (later Emperor Zhenwu) was practicing in Wudang Mountain, the king missed the prince and ordered his ministers to lead 500 people to Nanyan to "announce the king's life". The generals suddenly became stiff and couldn't lift it. They all said to him,' I want to learn from the prince. So they all hid in the mountains. After the prince became immortal, all 500 people boarded the fairy road. Later, he built a statue of the Five Hundred Spirit Palace as a sacrifice. In addition, because Wang Lingguan was once named as the "God of Jade Pivot Fire House", people regarded him as Vulcan, so some statues of Lingguan were like Vulcan, and Lingguan was also enshrined in the Fire Hall.
