This is a poem written by Li Baichu when he left Sichuan, which is connected with the landscape of his hometown. The poet saw the night scene on the boat: a half-moon hung high above Mount Emei, and the moon was reflected in the Pingqiang River. The first sentence is to look up and write a static scene; The second sentence is overlooking and writing dynamic scenes; Write the starting point and destination in the third sentence; The fourth sentence is about missing friends. The whole poem uses five place names, showing a travel map of the Shu River crossing mountains, moons and rivers for thousands of miles. Originally, the expression of time and space changes in short quatrains is quite limited, so the general writing method is not to transcend time and space at the same time. The time and space span expressed in this poem is really free. There are five place names in twenty-eight words, and the word * * * is twelve, which is unique among the ten thousand quatrains in the Tang Dynasty. The reason why it is regarded as a swan song is that the poetic scene is permeated with the poet's experience of swimming in the river and his yearning for his friends. The symbolic artistic images of mountains and moons are everywhere, unifying a vast space and a long time. Secondly, the treatment of place names is also full of changes. "Emei Mountain Month" and "Pingqiang River" are attached to the scenery with place names, and there is nothing; "Faqingxi", "To the Three Gorges" and "Xiayuzhou" are all practical, but they have different positions in the sentence.
