"Spring Night" is usually considered as the wedding night, and the wedding is full of passion. Every moment is precious. But in fact, the original poem does not refer to the wedding night, but to the spring night.
From Su Shi's Spring Night.
Spring night is worth a thousand dollars, and the flowers are fragrant and the moon is cloudy.
Song Guan balcony sound fine, swinging yard night heavy.
Vernacular translation
Spring night is more precious because it is short. The flowers exude a faint fragrance, and the moonlight casts a dim shadow under the flowers.
Deep in the balcony, rich people are still singing and dancing, and gentle songs and wind music are scattered in the intoxicating night from time to time. The night is already deep, and the yard with swings is quiet.
