Li Huanzhi, born in Hong Kong in 1919, is a composer, conductor and music theorist. In his early years, he studied in Hong Kong, Xiamen and other places. In the spring of 1936, he entered Shanghai National Music College to study composition under Professor Xiao Youmei. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he went to Xiamen, Hong Kong and other places to engage in the anti-Japanese music movement, and collaborated with poet Pu Feng and others on a large number of anti-war songs. From 1935 to 1949, he successively composed the one-act opera music "Autumn in a Foreign Country", the children's opera music "Little Eight Road", the chorus "Ode to Youth", "Song of the Red Flag", "Victorious March" and "March for the Founding of a Democratic Republic", etc. song.
