Appreciation of Seven Li Sese in 442 AD (the third year of Song Yongchu), Xie Lingyun wrote this poem from Jiankang in Kyoto to Taishou Ren in Yongjia, passing through the seven Li Sese on Fuchun River ("Sese on quicksand"). Qilise, also known as Qilitan, is located in the west of Yanling Mountain in Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province. High mountains stand on both sides of the river, and the river runs like an arrow. There is an ancient proverb: "there is wind in seven miles, but there is no wind in seventy miles." It means that it is extremely difficult to master the progress in fast sailing, but the speed is determined according to the size of the wind.
This poem rhymes at the end. Sixteen sentences, every four sentences are a section. Poetry reposes the author's lonely "heart" by watching the scenery by the river. Although this poem is broad-minded, it is full of untimely complaints. This is the characteristic of most of Xie Lingyun's poems.
The first four sentences are difficult to understand. The first sentence, "heart", the heart of a traveler, that is, the heart of a wanderer, refers to the reluctance of a person who is forced to travel far away to be an official. Both "accumulation" and "stagnation" (see the annotation and classic interpretation of Zhuangzi Tiandaopian) have the meaning of stagnation. This means that in the autumn morning, I am suffocating an unpleasant traveler's mood. The second sentence says, since you are unhappy in the morning, enjoy the scenery along the way. "Exhibition" means training "fitness", which means watching fitness. The third sentence and the fourth sentence seem to be intertextual, but they are slightly different. "Fast-flowing" refers to a river with fast-flowing water, so "lone guest" should be a guest on a boat trip; Although "apprentice" is opposite to "lone traveler", it refers to people who walk on foot and should be guests on land, so the word "bitter and steep" is added later. Her husband's boat is in the rapids, and he is naturally afraid; But also secretly used the allusion of "lost Sichuan". "The Analects of Confucius Zi Han": "Zichuan said:" The deceased is like a husband, never giving up day and night! I know that the meaning of the word "hurt" in this sentence contains puns, which not only hurts the obstacles of sailing on the river, but also hurts the hasty passage of time, echoing the following sentence "mourned by things" In the fourth sentence, "rush" is synonymous with "collapse", and "steep" refers to a steep river bank. The river bank is impacted by the water potential, and sometimes it collapses. Hikers will naturally feel very bitter when walking on this road. But from the context, this sentence is a foil after all, and the focus is on the "sad" "lonely guest", that is, the author himself. Therefore, "Lone Ranger" and "Apprentice Travel" are relative to the general, and seem to refer to the general, not all.
The four sentences in the second section are all scenic words. There is another jump in the middle. At first, it was written in the morning of autumn, and later it was written in the evening of autumn, represented by the sentence "the sunset shines on the mountain" This concentrated technique is one of the characteristics of China's classical poems, especially in Xie Lingyun's poems. "gurgling", the old saying looks like water. But whether it is slow or urgent needs to be studied. Ye Xiaoxue's statement that "the river is in a slow state" is questionable. Song of the Tiger Son by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (quoted from Hequ Book Historical Records): "Hetang is exciting. It can be seen that when training is in a hurry. What's more, "shallow stones" are urgent and must be slow. " "Shine" is an adjective rather than a verb, which means that the mountain is bright. The "drought" training is great and the training is wild, which has nothing to do with desolation; "Controversy" is endless "Woruo", see "Poetry for Self-protection", which describes the soft and lush leaves. These four "shallow stones" are about water and dynamics, while Sunset is about mountains and static. Close-up of water, light color; The mountain is a distant view, with bright colors and beautiful scenery. The sentence "barren forest" is what you see, while the sentence "mourning birds" is what you hear. The whole poem, with only four sentences, plays the role of connecting the preceding with the following, which is arguably not the main content. Only by deleting these four sentences will this poem have no poetry at all. It can be seen that emotion is the key to writing poetry.
The third season turned the scenery into lyricism, but there were also discussions. "Bitter things" refer to the objective things you see, that is, shallow rock turbulence, sunset mountains and desolate forests mourning birds. "Relocation" has two meanings. First, subjectively, it means that you are expelled from the county magistrate, which is tantamount to being demoted and reprimanded. Second, objectively, you think that the order of festivals has changed, and time waits for no one ("moving" refers to the migration of time, and "expelling" refers to the development and the transformation of space). Both of them deserve mourning. But as long as there is hope ("expectation", expectation, hope, here is a noun), you can understand the subtle truth and will not affect your emotions because of external interference. "To be wonderful" refers to the mystery and profundity of philosophy. But this state of enlightenment can only be understood by Taisha, an Archaean saint, and cannot be understood by the last generation of people who are in decline and chaos. Therefore, the author said, "since I hold the heart of the ancient sages, I don't care about the ridicule of the world today!" " The "emperor" is still an ancient emperor; "crumbs", gu; "Chen", teasing. From here, readers can see that the opposition between the author and the ruling class in Liu and Song Dynasties is an inevitable contradiction between aristocratic families and upstart warlords. Finally, the contradiction intensified and Xie Lingyun was finally killed for treason. From a historical point of view, this is not surprising at all.
In the last section, the author uses the words of the ancients to clarify his ambition. "Yan Zi", namely Yan Guang, the word Zi Ling, was originally a classmate of Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, but he resolutely refused to be an official and lived in seclusion by Fuchun River. Later, he named his fishing place Yanling Color, which is the so-called "Yanzi Color" in this poem. Its land is a few miles downstream of Qiliset, so the poet can see it. "Think", here is a noun, referring to thoughts. "Genus", linked to. "Ren Gong" is an allegory in Zhuangzi's essays. It is said that he "squatted down during the meeting and threw himself into the East China Sea". He used 50 cows as bait, and it took him a year to catch a big fish with enough meat for people from Zhejiang to Hunan. These are two different types of ancient people. Yan Guang is a hermit who escapes from the world, while Ren Gong symbolizes a brilliant and extraordinary generation. The author means that he is a hermit, although he has a good knowledge of nature and latitude because he is out of date. At the end of the two sentences, the author made it clear that even people of different times can share the same interests and keep pace. Implication: I know very few friends, and contemporary people don't know much about themselves. From this, we can infer what the specific content of the author's mourning is.
