Poetry in ci
Prince Zhao Ming said that Tao Yuanming's poems are "ups and downs and unique." Wang responded that Xue Shou's poems were "full of rhyme and fantasy, but vague in meaning". The gloom is really unspeakable. "Words, these two kinds of weather are precious. The former has only Dongpo, while the latter has only white stone.
However, no matter who you compare poetry to, it is only a personal impression.
However, no matter how you summarize the style of poetry, it's just personal feelings.
It may be recognized by the public at a certain moment, but as long as it is a personal opinion, it is one-sided.
With or without it, poetry has its own beauty.
Reading poetry is like seeing a solemn scholar, and reading words is like seeing a gentle and charming woman.
Reading poetry is like seeing good words, which is clear at a glance and vivid; Reading words is like listening to the ups and downs of music. It pats slowly and knows itself well.
Reading poetry is like a smooth road, pouring out my heart to you; Reading words is like walking on a winding and rugged narrow path, full of soft euphemisms of Wu Nong.
Reading poetry flies like a Dapeng spreading its wings; Reading words is like drinking slowly, and the meaning of drunkenness is not in wine.
Poetry is more straightforward than words, and it is often an open and gorgeous speech.
Words are more euphemistic than poems, and they are often obscure and profound.
Besides, words are poems.
What is left of poetry is words.
In other words, the other half of poetry is a word.
It seems more interesting to say poems are like men and words are like women.
After reading this section, I seem a little confused about Wang Guowei's point of view.
This section is mainly about "meteorology".
This section clarifies that it is difficult to have a poetic atmosphere in Ci. Only Su Shi's poems can make Tao Yuanming's poems "ups and downs, stand out from the crowd". It's a sunny weather, unlike Beijing. Only Jiang Kui's words have Xue Shou's poem "high rhyme and interesting meaning". It is so bleak, so bleak, it is hard to describe.
In this section, "meteorology" is used to comment on words, but the standard of Wang Guowei's comment on words here is to use the standard of excellent meteorology in poetry fu to require words.
Is it a bit rigid to ask women and men to compete for muscular strength and masculinity?
Although Wang Guowei's sixty-four sentences in "Words on Earth" are short, they are incisive words. If you don't read them carefully, you will lose its essence and waste your time.
Think about it carefully, and you will suddenly realize.
The difference between poetry and poetry was first summed up by later generations after reading and appreciating it.
If we put poetry into a fixed public view, for example, we stubbornly believe that poetry is Zhuang and the word is Mei. That's just rigidity of thought and shortsightedness of vision.
Poetry can write the feeling of words, and words can also reach the realm of poetry.
Wang Guowei mentioned at the beginning of Ci Poetry on Earth that "Ci takes the realm as the top", "If there is a realm, it becomes its own family" and "The realm has its own size, and there is no distinction between good and bad".
Words win by realm. And poetry is also evaluated by realm.
For example, from what Wang Guowei said earlier, "Taibai is better than meteorology", that is, Li Bai's poems are judged by meteorology, and his words are also judged by meteorology.
For example, in the previous section, "The wind and rain are gloomy, and the chickens crow unceasingly", "The mountains are steep and high, which block the sun, and the rain is gloomy and rainy. Snow is endless, clouds are rain, pressing into the sky. Trees are all autumn, and mountains only have light. The lonely pavilion closes the moon in Joan Hinton, and the cuckoo sets at sunset. The weather is similar.
Meteorology and realm can actually be judged in poetry.
Because although poems have different styles, they can be blended. Although each has its obvious uniqueness, after integration, it can broaden its meteorology and reach its height.
In my opinion, when Su Shi, Xin Qiji and Jiang Kui lived, Ci not only reached the height of poetry, but also absorbed its advantages. At the same time, Ci has its twists and turns, but it is optimistic, open-minded and heroic.
Su Shi's words alone can explain the appeal point. Read Su Shi's Red Cliff Nostalgia, in which "the river of no return is a romantic figure through the ages". If we change this word into a poetic format, it will be like this: when people go to Jiangdong, they will die, and the wind and waves will be exhausted through the ages.
Although it is bold to change it into a poetic form, compared with the original word, the poetic form only reduces the pause, but it is less euphemistic and dull to read.
The stay of River of No Return is like a sigh, like a look at the tragic mountains and rivers, full of bitterness, but his face is full of perseverance. Only this pause is a psychological turning point.
The stay of "the waves are exhausted" is like the expression of depression before, and the tight string has a tendency to gradually relax.
The last sentence of "Men of Eternal Romance" is the last outbreak, which is the connotation accumulated before. This kind of emotion is deeper, more realistic and more noble than the form of poetry. It's true that it's long and affectionate.
This is the great beauty of words.
Although I agree with Mr. Wang Guowei's evaluation method of breaking the boundary in The Thorn on Earth, I say in this section: Prince Zhaoming said that Tao Yuanming's poems were "ups and downs, and stood out from the crowd", and Wang responded that Xue Shou's poems were "full of charm, interesting and vague." . The gloom is really unspeakable. "Words, these two kinds of weather are precious. The former has only Dongpo, while the latter has only white stone. The last sentence "just one or two ears" seems to be slightly derogatory to Su Shi and Jiang Kui's words.
Poetry has its own beauty and realm. Su Shi's ci is the peak of the beauty of Song Ci. How can you simply say "just a little" because the weather is different?
Unpublished version of Ci-Hua in the World 13: "The style of Ci-Hua is to cultivate what can be said in poetry, not what can be said in poetry. Poetry is wide and long. "
Isn't what Su Shi said exactly what poetry can't say? It is also in line with Wang Guowei's point of view in the unpublished manuscript of human words.
At last, the thirteenth article of Unpublished Tales on Earth says: "Poems are wide and long." It shows that poetry pays attention to the open realm and the words are more affectionate. Isn't this the contrast between Su Shi's poems and Tao Yuanming's poems?
