Introduction: Dai Wangshu, a representative of my country's modern symbolist poets, people prefer to call him "Rain Lane Poet". Dai Wangshu's poems are more than about describing inner emotional journeys. He is good at singing about love. The poet is melancholy, tragic, lonely, and sensitive. It is these unique qualities that make his works extremely sad, beautiful, and moving. Like his works, Dai Wangshu's love journey is also poignant and beautiful. The following is his love story, welcome to read:
Dai Wangshu loved three women in his life, but they all ended in tragedy with the woman's betrayal. An excellent poet uses classic works to lead readers to appreciate and comprehend. Beautiful love, but there is no way to hold on to your tragic love.
Dai Wangshu was born in 1905 in a wealthy family in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. His father was a bank employee and attached great importance to the education of his children. From 1923 to 1925, he studied in the Department of Literature of Shanghai University and the Department of Foreign Languages ??of Aurora University. In 1926, he, Shi Zhecun, Du Heng and others founded the ten-month issue of "Yingluo". In 1928, he published "Rain Alley". This poem was highly recommended by Ye Shengtao, who praised him for "creating a new era for new poetry", so he was known as the "Rain Alley Poet". At that time, he and Xu Zhimo, Wen Yiduo were praised As one of the three major poets, he is famous in the poetry world and has many fans. That year, he founded "Literary Workshop" with Shi Zhecun, Du Heng, and Feng Xuefeng. This year, Dai Wangshu fell in love with Shi Zhecun's sister Shi Jiangping. For this reason, many people guessed that the girl who looked like lilac was Dai Wangshu's first love Shi Jiangping. Lilac plus drizzle, alleys, a touch of sadness, The beautiful sadness is the entangled emotion in the poet's heart, because Shi Jiangping, who was still studying on campus, did not love Dai Wangshu. She had a lover in her own heart, and she coldly rejected Dai Wangshu, so Dai Wangshu became a bitter unrequited lover. , singing sorrow and desolation, those emotions as delicate as hair bear an unspeakable weight. During this period, he wrote many poems about bitter love: "Unrequited Lover", "Mountain Journey", "Let's Meet the Heart", but he still could not move Shi Jiangping, and Dai Wangshu was in deep despair. He had low self-esteem, although He was tall, but he had suffered from smallpox since he was a child, and his dark face was covered with pockmarks. These became psychological obstacles for him to interact with women. The despairing poet chose to jump off the building to die in love. Seeing his infatuation, he was betrayed by his brother. After persuasion, Shi Jiangping reluctantly agreed to date Dai Wangshu.
But this reluctant relationship did not last long. In 1932, Dai Wangshu went to France to study. During this period, his works were influenced by French symbolist poetry. Dai Wangshu also translated many foreign works. By the time he returned to China in 1935, Shi Jiangping had fallen in love with someone else, and Dai Wangshu's love was ruthlessly destroyed. The angry poet ended the eight-year lovesickness with a slap in the face. The fruitless bitter love, the poet's too deep affection, not only deepened his inferiority, but also changed his view on marriage and love, leaving a shadow in his heart that women cannot be trusted.
After falling out of love, Dai Wangshu received sympathy from his friends. Mu Shiying, a modern Chinese novelist of the New Sensation School, has a sister named Mu Lijuan. She is pretty, fair, quiet and soft, and is 12 years younger than Dai Wangshu. With Mu Shiying's efforts to bring them together, the two like-minded people fell in love. Mu Lijuan admired Dai Wangshu's talent and knowledge very much, and the poet quickly came out of the shadow of broken love. In the winter of 1935, Dai Wangshu and Mu Lijuan got engaged and published a revelation in the newspaper. In June 1936, the two held their wedding at the Xinya Hotel on Sichuan Road, Shanghai. At that time, the literary and art circles were very optimistic about the couple. After marriage, Dai Wangshu seemed to be temporarily comforted by his new marriage. Although his compositions such as "Small Song" and "Eye" contain the joy of new love, there are also mourning for past relationships. During this period, the poet obviously lacked the same passionate emotions he had towards Shi Jiangping, and wrote very few love poems. He wrote in "Loneliness.": As the days pass, loneliness remains forever, and the soul rests on the weeds of separation. Like those poor souls who are as tall as me. I no longer go to the garden, and my loneliness is as high as mine. I sit at night and listen to the wind, and I sleep during the day and listen to the rain. I understand how the moon is missing and how old the sky is. It can be seen that the poet is still immersed in the deep inner closure, and his love for Mu Lijuan is just like fireworks. Perhaps, the love you cannot get is the best, and the love you get becomes a grave. Their marriage seemed to be harmonious on the surface. As time went by, crises lurked, little communication, family triviality, and the displacement of the war brought this marriage to the edge of splitting. In 1938, a song " The song "First Love Girl" accelerated the collapse of marriage. At that time, the song was composed by Chen Gexin and written by Dai Wangshu: I have walked the long road to the end of the world, and I can see the distant clouds and trees. How many past memories are too numerous to count, you Where are you? I can't forget your sad eyes. I know your silent affection. You led me into a dream, but I forgot you in another dream. Ah... my dream and the forgotten person, Ah... the person who received my first blessing, I watered the roses all day long, but let the orchids wither. The meaning of the lyrics is obvious.
In 1941, Mu Lijuan couldn't stand Dai Wangshu's indifference and filed for divorce. At this time, Dai Wangshu woke up from a dream and tried to commit suicide again to save the marriage, but it was too late. Mu Lijuan I was completely disappointed in him and left him. Perhaps the poet had feelings for Mu Lijuan, but he, who was born melancholy, lacked tenacity and became more confused and illusory. In the end, he lost the person who once loved him deeply.
On May 9, 1943, under the introduction of Hu Hao, the owner of the Book Printing Bureau, Dai Wangshu married Yang Jing, who was 21 years younger than him. Yang Jing was very beautiful, but there was a big difference in age and temperament. , coupled with the different upbringings of both parties, this marriage was also short-lived. In 1948, Yang Jing fell in love with a young man of similar age to her and filed for divorce from Dai Wangshu.
On the morning of February 28, 1950, Dai Wangshu suffered an asthma attack and died in Beijing.
The poet's love is tortuous and bitter. His happiness is so short-lived and so painful. It is also this experience that has created the poet's beautiful poems. Dai Wangshu is a person who knows how to love, and his love is profound. True, persistent, and innocent, it is his belief in the eternity of love that makes his love poems still touch our heartstrings even after long years of vicissitudes. These poems full of resentment are the poet's reflection on a better life. The pursuit of love and the desire for true love.
