"Broken Chapter" was written in 1935 and 10, which is an exquisite philosophical poem. According to the author, these four lines were originally in a long poem, but only these four lines were used to his satisfaction, so they were taken out to form an independent chapter, from which the title came.

In Broken Chapters, the poet sets up several groups of vague images. Through the transformation and combination of vision, the flow of time and the relative distance between time and space, poetry creates an infinite "landscape" from which different readers can experience and feel different philosophical connotations. The two paintings created by the poet in the first section can be combined into a complete Chinese painting: "You are standing on the bridge watching the scenery, and tourists are watching you upstairs."
"You" is the central point of view of the main figure painting in the picture. It radiates into space through "you", forming a multi-level network structure with bridges, mountains and rivers and people with scenery. The two poets skillfully organized these seemingly messy people and things in a frame, forming an ink painting sketch or a well-proportioned landscape sketch. This painting has no bright colors, but is left blank. When you stand on the bridge and watch the scenery, you look at it from a distance and quietly. It is only in your eyes that the "scenery" becomes beautiful and emotional, while the scenery remains unchanged, but the space is further extended and gradually changes.
There is an imaginary space distance between "the scenic man" and "you". The man in the scenic spot can only look at the "you" upstairs with longing and thoughtful feelings, which may not be true or just vague. "You" is just a "landscape" attached to nature, while "landscape watchers" regard "you" as a "beautiful scene" in their hearts.
If you walk off the bridge to see the scenery, you can see the flowers and trees in the scenery more clearly, but you can't leave eternal beauty in your heart; If the "landscape man" goes downstairs to see you on the bridge, he will see your appearance and behavior more truly, but maybe he will be disappointed and sigh. Because, when there is no distance between subject and object, aesthetic feeling cannot be reflected.
The second paragraph of "The bright moon decorated your window and you decorated other people's dreams" changed from day to night. There is a quiet and harmonious picture between the "bright moon" and the "window", and "you" has long been out of sight of others.
It enlarges the spatial distance, but the image of' you' becomes more beautiful and charming in the dream of' don't dream less, dream more'. Originally, "you" was in a leisurely mood, but "you" inadvertently caused others to tremble and dream. As far as dreams are concerned, "you" is the winding meaning of a bright moon, which has been further deepened and enriched. As far as aesthetics is concerned, perhaps only the "scenery" with a distance is more attractive and ornamental.
