What is the history and development of Shouxian County?

Shouxian County is located in the hinterland of central Anhui and the south bank of the middle reaches of Huaihe River, with a land area of about 2,986 square kilometers and a population of about 1.24 million. It is adjacent to Hefei in the east, Huainan in the north and Fuyang across the river. As the ancient capital of the Warring States, the ancient city of the Western Han Dynasty and the national historical and cultural city, Shouxian has a history of more than 2,000 years. As early as the end of the Warring States period, King Gao Lie of Chu moved his capital here. Shouxian was called Shouchun, Shouyang and Shouzhou in ancient times. In the Western Han Dynasty, Liu An, the king of Huainan (a thinker and writer in the Western Han Dynasty, the legend is that the inventor of tofu) once established his capital here. Liu An's tomb is located at the foot of Bagong Mountain.

Shouxian has a splendid culture, which is the hometown of Chu culture, the birthplace of China tofu and the ancient battlefield of "Battle of Feishui".
