Although they have different impressions in different periods, they have generally maintained a sense of spirit and freedom.
It is inconceivable for ordinary people to complete metaphysical spiritual pursuit with art and fill the whole living space with art, but Ling Gang is so alive. Today's art market is moving towards diversification, avoiding the influence of politics, dissolving and condensing a new force and changing a new pattern. Ling Gang is a part of this new force and a part of the new model reform. When art moves towards art itself, it depends on spirit, and more on the sincerity to art and life.
Here in Ling Gang, you will find that he lives in both classical life and modern life, but more of a classical life. Living in classicism is a saying. To truly live in classicism, we must live in details. You must give yourself a pedantic time, a time to stay in ancient space. "Bishan is just a drama, and its style is shoulder to shoulder." In the fast-paced Beijing, I live very leisurely, painting, printing, writing and drinking tea. It seems that everyone is busy except him. Classical spirit is a word "leisure". Idle people are not idle, so ancient idle people are idle. They are shaping a realm and a taste with leisurely efforts. People have no leisure and no spirit, and only when they have leisure can they learn. The creation of calligraphy and painting seal cutting should be "edified" in a certain period of time. The so-called "nurturing" means that you should give yourself a space in the spiritual field and a space in the life field to stop yourself, so as to "bathe in the snow" and reflect on yourself. The sky is water, the sky is ink, and the sky is the inkpad printed on the seal. Ling Gang is free, not rigid, but flexible. It was himself who entered his eyes and fell on the paper mark.
Ling Gang chose such an artistic path for himself, constantly improving, constantly polishing and washing, and constantly understanding. So you can see that he is making progress every day. Some people's progress is invisible, but Ling Gang can see it.

From Ling Gang's works, we can see that he is building his own aesthetic art space. No matter his books, paintings and prints, he is different from his peers and from a group of people like us. He started as a child, gradually expanded and deepened.
The artistic world of his ego mainly comes from classicism and also from modernity. He deliberately did not keep pace with the times, nor did he climb high, and maintained his independence. In the past two years, he has painted more and more, and painting has made up for his artistic diversity to some extent. The ancient figures in his paintings are very similar to those in ancient prints. They are lofty and carefree, regardless of their cars, crowns, uniforms, etc. Nowadays, there are very few people who create like this, and Ling Gang is very diligent in this respect, which is quite pleasant.
Calligraphy is written in a variety of ways, the running script is sharp, the seal script is moist and regular, and the different selves in calligraphy are concentrated or dissipated in a unified atmosphere. Nowadays, young people are taking part in national exhibitions, all in order to be one of them, but Ling Gang is different. He avoided these things at a distance. He didn't go beyond the world, but returned to his true heart. Art is a way for him to return to himself. Although this way is manifested in everyone, it is manifested in different ways. He has no danger of the times, he is independent of art, which is a choice and a decisive gesture.

Ling Gang is changing, so is Ling Gang. People's fate and art are in the process of migration and change. Trees move to death, and people move to life. If people can't think, don't realize their in-depth observation and thinking about things, and don't enter the palace of art, they will always wander outside the Tao.
Ling Gang, a drifter in Beijing, went from Liulichang to You 'anmen and from You 'anmen to Yanjiao. Penghu Wengju and Yumen belong to the wrong place. You can't change your mind, keep the dignity of the road and never look back. People's wandering is not the wandering of art, but the wandering people are more aware of the depth of art in wandering. Ling Gangyin "World Open School" and painted "Zhang Lichen". What he can carve in Yin Zhi is almost the same as that of his teacher, which is almost unreal, but recently it is obvious that he is constantly reflecting on his past, drawing inspiration from the ancients and taking a different road.
After several years of tempering, Ling Gang is from the outside to the inside and from the inside out. He is deepening himself and his spirit. The road of art is endless. Ling Gang is a hiker and hiker. "Zhuangzi Xiaoyao Tour": "Those who are suitable for the wild will return after three years, and their stomachs are as expected." I asked Ling Gang to engrave the words "suitable for the headstrong and the pale" for me, not only for me, but also for him.
Goodbye Ling Gang, you will find that Ling Gang is simple, leisurely and chic. Calligraphy and painting are the same as poetry. No purity, no purity, no tenacity, no tenacity, no realm. Before Ling Gang came to Yanjiao, his life always seemed to be changing. While studying hard, he also has a sense of drift and turbulence. But when he arrived in Yanjiao, especially after settling down, he completely calmed down. He can make a cup of tea for himself or a pot of tea for his friends, and chat alone while drinking tea. If calligraphy and painting can't be leisurely, there can't be space. China's art is "nurturing" rather than seeking.
