Li Bai - "About to Enter the Wine" belongs to the old title of Han Dynasty Yuefu's "Drumming Song·Cao Song", and the content is mostly about banquets and entertainment. During the Tianbao reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, the imperial court launched frequent attacks on ethnic minorities in the border areas. In the eighth year (749), Ge Shuhan was ordered to attack the Tubo Shibao City (in today's Qinghai Province). He could not capture it for a long time. Although he won by luck, he lost most of his 63,000 men. By the winter of this year, all the troops stationed there had lost The two thousand garrison troops on Longju Island (in Qinghai Lake) were also wiped out. Eighty-nine soldiers died, and no one was willing to enlist. Yang Guozhong (prime minister at the time) sent his censors to separate routes to arrest the people, and flailed them to the Yijun Station... So the traveler was sad and resentful, and his parents and wives sent him away, where the sound of crying shook the countryside. Such a heart-breaking scene is also rare in history! The poem "War Chariots on the Road" was probably written by the poet when he saw such a scene or shortly thereafter. But when the poet captured this historical lens in his poem, he only used it as a prelude to a social tragedy, and his main intention was to expose the cruel oppression of the people by the ruling class.
