7 claims: leading; Be the host. Poetry mainly adopts the method of holding things and expressing aspirations, writing plum is like writing people and conveying the sadness of falling plum. He expressed his praise for Mei's character, revealed the poet's self-emotion, expressed his feelings about his career, hated those who were jealous of talents, and expressed his grief and indignation at those who suppressed talents.
In the first couplet, "one piece can break one's heart, but more walls can be built", which means that the fallen plum blossoms are sad, and the petals fall like snowflakes, covered with steps and piled up on the walls. The poet painted a bleak picture of plum withering.
Zhuan Xu further described "Falling Plum": "Floating passengers cross the ridge and fall like poets to Hunan." These two poems, with neat antithesis and clever allusions, highly summarize the bumpy lives of countless "immigrants" and "poets" in history. The word "crossing the ridge" in "floating like a stranger crossing the ridge" crosses the five ridges, which means the area around Guangdong today and is a metaphor for the story that Han Yu was demoted to Chaozhou. The word "Xiang" in "The Elephant Poet Goes to Hunan" refers to the story that Qu Yuan fell out of favor and died in the Miluo River in Hunan today.
The knot in the neck produced the final result of plum blossom: "There are too many raspberries at random, and even the sleeves have been stuck for a long time." These two poems have the same effect as Lu You's "Yongmei the diviner", saying that "everything is smashed into mud and ground into dust, but only fragrance remains". So many beautiful and noble flowers are now scattered into mud, interacting with raspberry moss and being trampled into dust. However, the petals accidentally fell on the sleeve, but their fragrance lingered for a long time. On the surface, the poet is praising the plum blossom, but in fact, he is praising the "immigrants" and "poets" who are exiled but still stick to their ambitions. They use pen euphemism, which has far-reaching influence.
The last three chapters focus on scenery writing and lyricism. The ending couplet is the crowning touch of the whole article. "Dongfeng is arrogant in consumption, but not arrogant." These two sentences seem to mean that "Dongfeng" abuses power, kills people and takes flowers, and does not cherish jade. The "East Wind" actually implies that those in power in the imperial court abused their powers, excluded, framed and buried talents, abused power for personal gain, and ganged up for personal gain. These people are jealous of plum blossom's aloofness and wanton destruction, but they are incompetent. The poet skillfully and zigzag pointed his finger at all the authorities who were jealous of and attacked talents in history and reality.
The essence of this poem "Falling Plum" is that there is not a word "Mei" in the whole poem, but it not only depicts the character and suffering of Plum Blossom, but also reveals the poet's heart and feelings everywhere by lamenting the falling Plum. At the same time, it also highly summarized the misfortune of countless "immigrants" and "poets" in history, and even expressed the voices of a large number of aspiring patriots, including poets at that time. Yongmei's poem is different from ordinary poems about objects. It has profound implications and entrusts the poet with strong feelings of grief and indignation. It can be regarded as a condensed Li Sao.
