Xianyang is located in the hinterland of Qinchuan, eight hundred miles away from Shaanxi Province. The Wei River runs through the south, Zongshan Mountain stretches to the north, and the mountains and rivers are both sunny, so it is called Xianyang. It borders the provincial capital Xi'an to the east and Gansu to the north. It is the first stop of the ancient Silk Road and the gateway from my country's Central Plains to the northwest. Xianyang has beautiful scenery, distinct four seasons, rich products and outstanding people. The climate is a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with freezing cold and hot summers, and rain and heat in the same season. Xianyang, located in the hinterland of the Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province, has a history of more than 2,350 years. It is a Grade-A city open to the outside world in China, a national historical and cultural city, a national dual-support model city, a national sanitary city, a geothermal city in China, and one of the top ten livable cities in the country. It is one of the first batch of China's outstanding tourist cities and one of the advanced cities in the creation of national spiritual civilization. In 2004, it was named the first Chinese Charming City.
