In the first sentence of the poem, I look back on my life, wandering around the rivers and lakes several times, the author's life, running around the country for the revolutionary cause, and attending the May Fourth Movement; From leading the youth movement to being the chief political instructor of Huangpu Military Academy; From May 30th Movement to Nanchang Uprising and Guangzhou Uprising after the failure of the revolution.
The past is vivid, and my life is worthy of the revolution and the party. In the second sentence, I linked my revolutionary career with the wars I fought together, so my old friends lived and died in different ways. I used to have many friends and comrades. Where are they now? Maybe they have fallen under the enemy's butcher's knife, maybe they are continuing the revolutionary cause, but whether they live or die, their cause will last forever, and their lives will last forever.
The third sentence is about himself, and he has tried his best to find something in common. This sentence is the expression of his frank thoughts. A mortal always has some personal trifles and personal troubles, but now he is ready to put them all behind him. Why?
