The purpose of the competition: The competition implements the party’s education policy and literary and artistic policy, strictly implements relevant national policies, serves the educational goal of “cultivating people with moral integrity”, and “carries forward Ye Shengtao’s educational thoughts, cooperates with the promotion of new curriculum reform; and leads "Healthy Writing for Middle School Students, Discovering and Cultivating New Literary Seedlings" builds a high-level communication platform to help the development of "core literacy" quality education.

Participants: high school students from all over the country (including vocational high schools, technical secondary schools, etc.), and the competition is organized on a school basis.

Manuscript requirements and award settings: There are no restrictions on the subject matter or style of the participating manuscripts. They must conform to the writing concept and leading ideas of the competition, promote the main theme, and spread positive energy (see the "Contest Rules", or log on to the competition website to read the relevant interpretations and guidance articles), the number of words should be about 2,000 words (a poem of more than 20 lines).

The competition has preliminary prizes and final prizes. There will be first, second, and third prizes and a winning prize in the preliminary round, and a special prize and first, second, and third prizes in the finals. There will also be a "Top Ten Little Writers in the Country" award.

Based on the students’ performance in the competition, the corresponding level of Outstanding Instructor Award and Group Award will be awarded.

The group competition award process: The competition is divided into two stages: preliminary and final. The preliminary competition is conducted through online submission review and is organized and implemented by the school. Participating schools and students must log in to the competition website to register and submit submissions.

The organizing committee will organize a re-evaluation based on the school’s preliminary evaluation recommendations, determine the number of winners and finalists in the preliminary competition, and organize the finals in a unified manner. Participating schools are requested to pay attention to the deadline of each link and organize and complete the submission and preliminary evaluation and recommendation work in advance. At that time, the website submission review system will automatically close. Schools that have not completed the preliminary evaluation and recommendation will be deemed to have automatically given up the competition.
