How to draw a pause in a five-character quatrain

There are two ways to pause a five-character quatrain:

1."221"rhythm: According to the principle that the number of syllables in a poem is equal, each poem is divided into two groups, with the first two words as a group and the last two words as a group. When reading aloud, the first two words are read continuously, with a pause in the middle, and the last two words are read continuously. For example: daytime/mountain/fatigue, Yellow River/sea/stream.

2. "23" rhythm: five-character break, that is, according to the ancient rhythm of five-character poems. For example: daytime/mountain/fatigue, Yellow River/sea/stream.

The above two pause methods are for reference only, and can be selected according to the poetic and prosodic characteristics of specific poems.
