"Love" - ??Roy Clift
I love you,
not just because of how you look,
Also because,
When I am with you,
I look like you.
I love you,
not only because of what you did for me,
but also because,
for you,
p>
Things I can accomplish.
I love you,
because you can bring out the truest part of me.
I love you,
because you pass through the wilderness of my heart,
as easily as sunlight penetrates crystal,
my Stupidity,
My weakness,
almost does not exist in your eyes.
And the most beautiful place in my heart,
is illuminated by your light,
No one else has bothered to go that far,
Others think it is too troublesome to search,
So no one has discovered my beauty,
So no one has been here.
I love you,
because you helped me understand,
that life was unbearable,
you didn’t make me,
Treat it as an inn on your road,
but as a temple of piety deep in your heart;
For my work,
but also Every day I have trivial things,
you don’t blame me,
but sing for me.
I love you,
because what you have given me,
is far more than any oath,
it is all for my own good,
What you have given me,
is more than any favor,
and it is all for my happiness.
You have given me so much,
not a single touch,
not a word,
not a hint.
You have given me so much,
simply because you are you.
Maybe this is the ultimate true meaning of being a friend.
Extended information
Roy Clift is a very controversial "character". There is no introduction to his life in any document, not even the dates of his birth and death, and no photos. As for the fact that he is Irish, it is just a legend. Some people think that he is American.
Roy Clift self-published a 28-page poetry collection in 1979, the most famous of which is "Love". This poem often appears at weddings and is always quoted. Regarding his mysterious life experience, one theory is that Roy himself does not exist at all, but is a way for someone to publish translated poems. The poem "Love" itself is translated from the German poem "Ich Liebe Dich" (I Love You) by the Austrian poet Erich Fried.
His collection of poems can no longer be found, and even his name has not been left. The company that published the poetry collection is called Blue Mountain Arts, Inc. (Blue Mountain Arts Company) is still there today. In Colorado, the United States, its main business is to publish books for those who are willing to pay for it.
Many books have been published over the decades, but the quality of these books varies, and print runs vary depending on the financial strength of the author. Someone first tried to find this collection of poems in the 1990s, but due to its age, the company could no longer find any books or records.
