Yu Jian, a famous contemporary poet, graduated from Yunnan University. Beginning of autumn was born in Kunming, 1954. Hearing impairment caused by streptomycin injection in childhood,/kloc-dropped out of school at the age of 0/4 and lived in his hometown. 16, worked as a riveter, welder, porter, propagandist, farm worker, college student, university teacher, researcher, etc. In the meantime, he roamed the Yunnan Plateau and all parts of China. He began to write poetry at the age of 20 and published his works at the age of 25. He is a representative poet of the third generation of poetry. His pursuit is secularization and popularization, but his poetic style contains profound significance. He is one of the few writers who can express his understanding of world philosophy. He has written more than ten kinds of poems, including Sixty Poems, Naming a Crow, Yu Jian's Poems, Notes on Brown Leather, etc. Together with poets such as Han Dong and Ding Dong, he founded their literary magazine, which had a great influence. He was awarded the "China Literature and Media Award" and the 2002 Poet Award.
