On the topic of military poetry creation

Xiongjiu crossed the Yalu River in high spirits.

To protect the peace of the motherland is to protect the hometown.

China's good son Qi Xin.

Resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea defeated the wolf of U.S. imperialist ambition

My father has been to the Korean battlefield.

In order to defend the motherland, in order to defend my hometown.

Defeat the American imperialists and defend peace.

The loud military songs are mighty and magnificent.

Our ancestors went to Korea to fight.

Heroic fighting is the backbone of the nation.

The Yalu River flows quietly.

Loud military songs echoed in my ears.

Every year, 65438+1October 25th is the anniversary of Chinese people's Volunteer Army's War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. Time flies. It has been 60 years since the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea began. I think of many people, mostly my comrades-in-arms, my comrades-in-arms when I was young. At the same time, I also remembered poetry.

Do these 60 years have anything to do with poetry? Yes Because one of my little comrades-in-arms was a poetry lover when he was young, and later he went to the Korean battlefield with the army and became a small confidential officer. As far as I know, poetry seems to be the shadow of a soul accompanying him, walking through the battlefield in blood shed.

In the year before he went to Korea, we often talked about literature and poems we yearned for with the same hobby. I was in the confidential room of the military region. He is in the confidential training brigade, about the same age. After graduation, he was assigned to the confidential room of the following troops. At that time, although we all pretended to be lovers of poetry, we knew almost nothing about the true meaning and art of poetry. At that time, the private letters of our confidential personnel had to be read by the leaders in advance. Maybe naive. A section chief always smiles and says, "The two great poets are encouraging each other again."

Soon, it was too late to say hello to me in advance, and in less than one night, I quietly "crossed the Yalu River".

After the Korean armistice, we returned to China. We met and talked for a long time, and the most talked about was poetry, the hobby of * * *.

Less than told me three experiences related to poetry:

It was in the third battle that the enemy's front line had not stabilized near the 38th parallel, but it was still advancing, chasing and encircling, and the positions changed hands repeatedly. At that time, he was sent to a regiment to take the lead. Once, as soon as he sent an urgent telegram, the enemy plane blew up his shelter, and his lower body was buried under the earth and stone, and his legs were pinned down by a piece of wood. In a semi-coma state, several silent "farewell words" came to his mind: "I was ready to sacrifice from the day I went abroad, but I didn't expect to die so early. Mom, chief, I am not reconciled. " However, he was later saved, miraculously leaving no disability. The first thing he did after "coming back to life" was to write down what he wanted to say when he was "dying" in a small notebook he carried with him. When he was alone, he recited it repeatedly and asked himself, can these "last words" be regarded as poems? He is so eager to write something really called poetry one day. ...

Soon, the troops continued to push south, successfully crossed the 38th parallel of north latitude, and basically pursued along the route taken by the Korean People's Army. There was a scene that he remembered the most. When he was about to cross the Han River, the female members of the Art Troupe showed Allegro on the roadside to encourage morale: "Flying Tigers rushed down the mountain and went straight to Seoul to discuss the government; Comrades, try to chase it, and the Pacific Guard will see who it is ... "Following the rhythm of Allegro, their division finally killed a battalion of the 29th Royal Brigade in Shui Yuan, south of Seoul, and fought a small annihilation war cleanly. During a short break, I didn't expect the female art troupe member who said Allegro to appear in front of them again: "Discuss the government, don't discuss the government, 150 to Seoul; When I came to Shui Yuan, I didn't see the original. The next step is to pursue the tank regiment. "Sure enough, their division wiped out most of an old American tank regiment trapped in the quagmire of southern Shui Yuan. When camping that night, my comrades and I talked about the Allegro of the members of the Women's Art Troupe. He said that such allegro itself was a poem, but other comrades disagreed, and it was just a "jingle". Less than blushing with anxiety and thick neck: "This is a poem of soldiers, a poem of the battlefield, understand? "

Please see: American soldiers' evaluation of volunteers:

This army is different from all the armies in the world, Bevan. During the Korean War, Alexander served as the captain of the war history team stationed at the front line for the US War Department, and later wrote special reports for the US military and the US government for a long time, and also worked as a freelance writer for some major newspapers. His book Korea: Our First Defeat-Reflection on America (published by China Social Sciences Press in June 2000, 65438+ 10) is a book that comprehensively examines the Korean War and Sino-US relations, frankly points out the consequences of the war and inspires people to seriously reflect. The following is taken from the book.

Although neither the Far East Command nor the Washington authorities are willing to admit it, the United Nations Army is facing a huge and excellent army. Beijing has always called the soldiers in this unit volunteers. In fact, these soldiers are full members of the Korean People's Liberation Army, and they are deployed with the troops in northern China. The predecessor of this unit was the China guerrillas who fought against the Kuomintang. By 1950, although the PLA had become a powerful force, it still maintained the style and tradition of guerrilla warfare in the past. Because of this, the China People's Liberation Army is very different from all other armies in the world.

The most unusual thing about China's army is that it has no obvious personal organizational system of officers. However, its "cadres" or leading bodies are very strong, and there are leading bodies at every level, which can fully play the role of the officer system. The PLA has no rank below general, and commanders are called by their positions, such as "squad leader" and "company commander". In order to maintain the guerrilla tradition of the army and the principle of equality in production (obviously, only the China army is like this, but not other * * * production party troops), all officers and men wear the same clothes. This is different from their Korean comrades. North Korean officers wear military uniforms according to the Soviet model, with eye-catching epaulettes to indicate their ranks. The clothes of PLA officers and men are basically the same. Although the coat is a little different, you can't tell it without looking carefully. The collar and cuffs of officers' uniforms sometimes have red edges. The winter clothes of China Army are thick yellow or dark blue cotton-padded clothes. Cotton-padded clothes are covered with summer military uniforms or other clothes. Although this kind of cotton military uniform doesn't look like a soldier, it is very warm, and it is not easy to dry when it is wet. Soldiers in China wear rubber-soled cotton shoes, and some people wear leather boots. Thick cotton cap with ear cover.
