Poetry in four literary genres

Poetry is a rhythmic literary genre, also known as poetry. In ancient China, unhappy people were called poems and happy people were called songs. It exists in the cultural tradition of human beings, and we have always maintained lofty intentions for words such as "poetry", "lyricism" and "beauty". Human beings not only have the ability to express their feelings, but also have this need, based on the need of survival.

Prose of four major literary genres

Prose is a narrative literary genre, which expresses the author's true feelings and flexible writing style. In ancient China literature, prose is opposite to verse and parallel prose, and it does not pursue rhyme and sentence order. This is prose in a broad sense. In China's modern literature, prose refers to a literary genre as famous as poetry, novel and drama. This is prose in a narrow sense.

Novels of four major literary schools

Novel is a literary genre that focuses on portraying characters and reflects social life through complete stories and environmental descriptions. Novels can be divided into myth, Xian Xia, martial arts, science fiction, suspense, ancient legends, contemporary, romantic youth, game competition and so on. According to the system, it can be divided into chapter novels, diary novels, epistolary novels and autobiographical novels.

According to language forms, it can be divided into classical Chinese novels and vernacular novels.

Drama of the four major literary schools

Drama refers to the stage performance art that achieves narrative purpose in the form of language, action, dance, music and puppet. The concept of drama in literature refers to the script created for drama performance, that is, the script. There are various forms of theatrical performances, including drama, opera, ballet, musical, puppet show and so on.
