"Baitou Yin" is a folk song of Han Yuefu, belonging to the genus and lyrics. According to legend, it was written by Zhuo Wenjun, a talented woman in Han Dynasty. Through the example of the heroine, this poem creates a female image with distinct personality and strong feelings, expresses the heroine's grief and indignation over the loss of love and her desire for truly pure love, affirms her sincere and single-minded attitude towards love, and denounces her behavior of liking the new and hating the old and giving up halfway.

According to Volume III of Miscellanies of Xijing, Zhuo Wenjun wrote "White-headed Songs". According to legend, Zhuo Wenjun was widowed at the age of seventeen. Sima Xiangru's passionate and bold confession in Feng Qiu Yellow made her fall in love at first sight. Their love was blocked by Zhuo's father. With the longing for love and the pursuit of happiness, the author resolutely escaped from Zhuofu and eloped with his beloved.
But Sima Xiangru let the author down. When he showed a little edge in his career, he lived in Beijing for a long time and wanted to take a concubine, ready to marry a Maoling woman. Therefore, Zhuo Wenjun wrote the poem "A Ballad with a White Head" to express her persistence and yearning for love, as well as a woman's unique firmness and tenacity.
