How to interpret poetry around the topic

Appreciation of ancient poetry is one of the compulsory contents of college entrance examination. For most candidates, the most difficult step to answer the question of appreciation of ancient poetry is to interpret poetry. Because most candidates are overwhelmed by this question, the actual score of ancient poetry appreciation is not ideal. Then, in the preparation stage, how can teachers guide students to do it in order to better solve this problem that plagues students? According to the author's experience, teachers can basically solve this problem only by starting from the basic laws of expression and performance in ancient poetry and giving practical guidance to students in interpretation skills. In the following, the author takes 12 as an example to talk about this problem, in order to help the majority of candidates.

First, grasp the topic

The topic is the eyes of poetry. When reading ancient poetry, you can get a lot of useful information by grasping the topic of poetry and starting with the topic. The first volume of National Volume 20 10 Poetry Appreciation gives the poem "Butterfly Loves" written by Liu Xiaozhuo, a writer in the Southern Dynasties. The title provides two useful information for candidates: this is a poem about objects, and its expression means is to express one's will through supports; In 2009, the poem given by Jiangxi College Entrance Examination was When Cousin Lu Lun came to spend the night. The title provides three useful information: Lu Lun and his brother-in-law meet and stay together, and the feeling of meeting him is "joy", which should run through the whole poem and be the clue of the whole poem; The poem given in the poetry appreciation of Ningxia college entrance examination in 2008 is Cai Zhao's "Li Shinan Painting Fan", which tells the candidates that this is a painting poem, and the content written in the poem should be the painting on the painting fan; In 2007, the poem given by Liaoning was Wang Wei's Sitting Alone on an Autumn Night. The title not only tells the examinee what this poem is about: sitting alone in autumn night, but also tells the examinee the keynote of the whole poem: desolation. In ancient poetry, such topics can be said to be everywhere. When answering questions, it will get twice the result with half the effort if candidates can grasp this feature and develop the habit of reading poetry topics.

Not only that, as far as some poems are concerned, there will be wrong solutions without looking at the topics. Zhu Qingyu's Letter to Secretary Zhang on the Eve of Jinshi is a typical work in this respect. Look at the original poem:

Give it to secretary Zhang on the eve of the government exam.

Zhu Qingyu

Last night, the candles in the bridal chamber were lit all night, waiting for dawn to worship the parents-in-law.

Dressed up beautifully, I asked my husband: Can my eyebrows be painted in different shades?

Looking at the content of this poem alone, it seems that it is written about the psychological state of a newly married wife when she is preparing to meet her in-laws for the first time. After reading the title, the author Zhu Qingyu compared her in-laws to examiners and the groom to her good friend Zhang Shuibu, showing her anxiety and hoping that Zhang Shuibu would help her pass the test.

Therefore, in the preparation stage, teachers must cultivate students' habit of reading poetry when guiding students to interpret poetry. Only in this way can we understand poetry correctly and answer the question of poetry appreciation well.

Second, grasp the image.

Image is one of the basic means to express meaning in poetry. When reading poems with vivid images, it is one of the effective means to quickly interpret poems by grasping images and starting with them. Let's take a look at the poems given in the national volume of 2004.
