What can love be called in ancient poetry?

In fact, there are few nicknames for love. In ancient poetry, poets usually use some metaphor to describe the relationship between lovers, such as love birds and the branches of the heart mentioned by the students above. They use some things to compare the joys and sorrows of lovers, but these metaphors can't be called "love".

The words used by the ancients to express their feelings directly include lovesickness, knowing each other, sadness and love, or called lovers Tan Lang, Pan Lang, love plum, etc.

There are also words that can be used to describe the place where lovers meet: gentle hometown, platform for sex, Pushang and Sangzhong.

Or there are words to describe things between men and women: morning clouds and dusk rain, singing the wind and playing the moon, Wushan sex and rain, etc.

I personally like reading poetry very much. These are all my own summaries and records. I hope they can help you.
