Therefore, "Mu Ye" is a standard expression in ancient Chinese, which has nothing to do with taboos or the Tang Dynasty, such as Qu Yuan's "autumn wind curled up, Dongting waves fell under Mu Ye" and Cao Pi's "plants and trees shake like frost".
In fact, in the Han and Tang Dynasties, trees have been used as names, such as "trees echo monkeys on the shore of Dongting Lake, and someone is moving a blue wooden boat". Because there is a wooden word on the back of Mulan's boat, in order to avoid repetition, it was written as Dongting tree, not Dongting tree.
