Teaching plan on how to help children improve their reading ability.

first, stimulate students' interest and make them like reading.

Interest is the best teacher and the motivation for people to engage in any activity. Only when students have an interest in reading can they have an active need for extracurricular reading from the bottom of their hearts. Therefore, in teaching, I use some special ways to stimulate students' interest in reading, so that they can happily accept the Chinese knowledge they want to learn.

In teaching, I often encourage students to read in the way they like. For example, when teaching "Underwater World", let students read it carefully and think about what methods they are going to learn. Through thinking, some students said: I'm going to read sentence by sentence, imagine all kinds of small animals on the bottom of the sea while reading, and read the places I don't understand several times, and I can understand them against the illustrations. Some said: I'm going to compete with my deskmate to read aloud to see who can read well. Others said: I want to focus on "the seabed is really a world with strange scenery and rich products!" This sentence was studied and solved this problem, and this text was also read and understood. In short, in reading teaching, I often respect students' choices, satisfy students' wishes, and encourage them to explore with their own way of thinking according to their own experiences, thus developing their own personality.

second, teach them how to read, so that students can learn to read.

It is not enough to be interested. We should further guide them not only to love reading, but also to read, so as to read better and more effectively. As teachers, we should introduce some effective reading methods to students.

1. Skimming. The application of this method is generally to selectively read relevant chapters or parts of relevant books and newspapers according to some needs of students in class study or writing, so as to apply what they have learned. For example, after learning the lesson "The Sun", students read the book "Man and Nature" purposefully (or look it up online) in order to have a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the close relationship between human beings and the sun and nature. Moreover, students should be instructed to borrow relevant materials from the library, and then choose the parts they need to cultivate their ability to extract and use materials. At the same time, it also enriches language accumulation and improves reading interest and reading ability.

1. intensive reading. The so-called intensive reading method is to concentrate on some key articles in books and newspapers, and read them word by word from the outside to the inside. It is the most important and basic means to cultivate students' reading ability. Some articles have meaningful language, quoted classics and vivid plots. We can use these works as the basis to guide students to intensive reading, require students to devote themselves to reading, thinking and annotating, and gradually form a good habit of reading carefully.

3. silent reading. Silent reading method is to read the books and newspapers without pronouncing, distinguishing or distracting, but to quickly look at their general situation. This requires students to pay attention and make quick information processing and digestion during quick browsing. Using silent reading method, we can get as much information as possible in the least time.

4. abstract evaluation method. This reading method is to extract the relevant words, sentences, paragraphs and even the whole original text according to your own needs, or mark the key and difficult parts of reading, make comments and write comments. The educational aphorisms, wonderful and vivid words and paragraphs in the article can be extracted and accumulated in the "thesaurus" set up by ourselves, which has prepared rich language accumulation for future compositions. At the same time, you can also cut out the good articles from the newspapers and magazines you subscribe to and paste them into your reading notes.
