The Tale of Black Armor-/kloc-a long historical novel in the Kamakura era in the 3rd century, describes the power struggle between 1 156 to 1 185, two Japanese samurai groups, Genji (this Genji is not another Genji) and Heiping. Because it reflects the historical features of Japanese society during the transition from slavery to feudalism and describes major historical events, the text is vivid, refined and popular, and this work is widely circulated, and the main characters are almost household names. Shiro Sasaki said in the study of The Tale of the Pingjia Family: "As a national literature, The Tale of the Pingjia Family has been widely read for a long time, and its influence is far from that of The Tale of Genji."
There are also songs and stories, such as Yi Shi story and Yamato story.
